I've been coming to this office for about 3-4 years, but unfortunately my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. I had an appointment recently and was given the wrong prescription for my left eye -- not once, but twice. The issue was never properly corrected. As a result, I have not been able to order my contact lenses at all. I went back today hoping to finally get this resolved, only to be told that it was somehow my fault for not calling them, even though they were fully aware they had given me the incorrect prescription. What's most frustrating is the lack of accountability and follow-up. In the past, they used to check in to make sure prescriptions were correct, contacts were ordered, and everything was going smoothly. That level of care and customer service is no longer there. The atmosphere also feels very different and not as welcoming as it once was, possibly due to new staff. It's very unfortunate because I used to trust this office, but after multiple prescription errors and no effort to help resolve the situation, I'm left without contacts and without support. I expected much better after being a loyal patient for several years. I would strongly suggest reconsidering before trusting this office with your prescription

Eye Exam Experience - Mixed Feelings To begin with, the eye exam itself was excellent. The service was amazing, and the doctor did a great job identifying my correct prescription. However, the issues began afterward. I went in specifically to get glasses for driving, but I was mistakenly given a computer prescription. Fortunately, they corrected the error quickly and ordered new lenses. When I returned to pick up the corrected glasses, the technician bent my frame during the lens switch. I brought the frame back to get it fixed, but a week later, it was still not properly adjusted. To make matters worse, the staff tried to justify the poor fit by telling me, "just so you know, your ears are uneven." While I understand no one's body is perfectly symmetrical, that comment came off as dismissive and unprofessional -- as if they were blaming my anatomy for their mistake instead of taking responsibility for damaging my frame. I left feeling disappointed and honestly a bit offended. I chose this place based on the great reviews, but I wouldn't recommend them to others for glasses. The issue should have been fixed properly without deflecting the blame onto the customer

Dr. Stan is just lovely! He really cares about getting your prescription right and making sure you're happy with your lenses. I had both the contacts and glasses exam, and when I mentioned my light sensitivity, he suggested new contact lenses that block blue light. I've got the testers on now and can't wait to try them for night driving -- those bright headlights are the worst! He's such a kind, genuine person and didn't rush through my exam like some doctors do. He took all my concerns seriously and offered thoughtful options. Highly recommend!

I was having an eye emergency and didn't have an establish eye doctor just yet. I called multiple places and no one was taking a walk in but soon as I called this place they had me come in with no hesitation. Everyone in the office was welcoming, I was offered refreshments while I did some paperwork (which didn't take too long). When I got to the back it didn't take long for the doctor to examine my eyes.

Dr. Stam is an amazing doctor! This is my third year going to them for my eye appointment. I was referred by a friend and I was having major issues with my eyes focusing together, which caused a lot of issues. They have a special test called the Neurolens that has changed my life! All of the workers are amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. I am moving away but I'm hoping to come back once a year so I don't have to find a new eye doctor.

I've been suffering with chronic bruxism for over 7 years. After I mentioned that I get migraines from it, Dr. Stam ran an eye alignment test on me and discovered that my eyes are misaligned, and suggested I purchase Neurolens (prism lenses) to correct that. I did, and after only a couple of weeks I noticed a difference and my bruxism, jaw pain, neck/upper back pain were all feeling better. It has now been a few months, and last night, for the first time in over 7 years, I slept without a mouth guard and woke up with no jaw pain. That might not seem like a big deal to some, but Dr. Stam changed my life! No other doctor had ever suggested eye mis-alignment as a possible cause for my bruxism. He really cares about his patients. The support staff is great as well! I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Dr. Stam, Cindy and Athens are absolutely amazing!!! They helped my mother, in her 80s, and in a wheelchair, get exam and 2 pair of glasses. They went above and beyond!!!! The amazing care these people have over the phone and in person is absolutely wonderful!!!! A thousand stars for the Dr and his team!!!!

I had my third annual exam with Dr Stam. He and his staff are amazing. Ms Carrie at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The gentleman in the office who helped me pick out my glasses went above and beyond. (I can't recall his name.) I highly recommend this optometry practice.
