I have always went to West Coast Eye Institute. Dr Johnson is the best Dr Brandon Clare was awesome. But certain Dr's left an perhaps its the intake worker but I had a bacterial Infection Cornea is scratched badly an was told no Dr could help to look on Google to find him so I did but it relaid the other # to West Coast. An the receptionist hollered at me I just spoke with you there's nothing we can do?? I told her I called to McMullan Booth I wouldn't recall but many offices like Central or Tampa get routed back to West Coast. She did finally give a appt for March & I said I've been a patient since 1999 than got a appt 6 days out. I was in such pain I remembered my MoM had a Eye Institute they got me in the next day - quick - efficient - curtious it meant everything when your Eye is in pain. Just to call back to cancel that appt in 6 days I waited so long to get in touch with front desk. Places sure change with time.

Another fantastic visit with Dr. Johnson today. He and his staff are excellent. I'm always welcomed with a friendliness and a smile. Tricia is very courteous and great at explaining things. Dr. Johnson is just the best! He has a very calming demeanor and great analogies to explain eye issues. Very thankful for them.

Dr. Kirsch saved my right eye about six years ago, after suffering a retina detachment. The surgical repair has held up perfectly, after a highly technical surgery. This proves to me, that I found the best Doctor and facility to accomplish what was needed. I HIGHLY recommend taking your eye issues to "The Eye Institute of West Florida, and ask to see Dr. Kirsch. Jesus Christ. Where do I start. These people can't even make an appointment and like to waste your time. Time is money. I'm over here waiting for 2 hours and didn't even get to me. Just got up and left. All they got to was having me read letters off the wall. 2nd grader could have helped me with that. Place is always so busy with tons of unhappy patients. Stay Away.

This is the VERY best organization for total eye care! I am a Army veteran and needed emergency care. The VA provided me with the access to use this establishment. I had 5 surgical procedures, cataracts removed, and finally Lasik surgery. My wife receives eye care with an excellent doctor also. We HIGHLY recommend these doctors and their wonderful staff to everyone! 6 Stars!

Disrespectful of people times. Was told 30 minutes AFTER appointment time the appointment take 1.5hrs to complete. Appointment times should be communicated with patients/parents prior to arriving so they can plan accordingly and be kept in the loop when running behind. Especially when the appointment is for a small child. Disrespectful and unprofessional
