Tyson Eye

My advice is to check every possible thing that could go wrong after cataract implant surgery. I feel like I donated 12k plus to Tyson eye. I had my surgery about a year ago. My vision never improved and has gotten worse than ever. I was aware that I may need reading glasses after, no problem. I've been back there several times as well as the office in Bonita Springs. . I recently had to BUY new glasses and I have been referred to a Retina specialist for possible eye surgery. When you have this surgery at their surgery office it is like a production line. Dr Tyson sits in a chair and they bring slightly sedated patients in one at a time. The surgery is done very quickly with no talking to the Dr. I found it unprofessional like I was a slab of meat. The nurses are kind but have to work quickly so they finish the long line of that days patients. I'm so very tired of the whole thing. If I could get my 12k back I'd delete this uncomplimentary review.

Dr. Morgan Champagne attended to my eye situation with a clear explanation of what was taking place and her treatment plan. The check in, examination and scheduling of the next appointment was efficient and quick. My appointment was at 8 a.m. and I was out the door by 8:30! The prescription was sent post haste!

The office staff is pleasant and capable and Dr. Tyson is very thorough, professional and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I left confident that I made the right choice for my upcoming eye surgery.

After seeing another eye doctor, who had me worried about macular degeneration and glaucoma, and sold me expensive supplements to counteract the macular degeneration; I saw Dr Tyson. He showed me images and assured me that I have no indication of macular degeneration and I need not take the expensive supplements. He also had me stop taking the eye drops and will test pressure in a month but he feels like I will likely not need the drops either. Such a relief and confirmation that I need to trust my gut. I am so happy I got a second opinion!

Dr. Tyson and his staff always provide an exceptional experience and great eye exam. There is no better eye doctor in FL.
