This place is a hidden gem. They make your glasses on-site. I purchased two pairs of prescription glasses, one clear and the other sunglasses. I'm thrilled by the customer service I received with the selection process of my frames. Loved how my new glasses make me look and how well I see through them. I know I'll be buying all my prescription glasses here from now on and recommending this place to everyone who needs prescription glasses.

Robbi is the best! She helps you pick out the glasses and options that are best for you ... she's not trying to upsell you on options just to get a bigger sale. They don't take insurance, but their prices are very competitive. It's a good business, but her personality makes that place.

I have worn glasses for at least 25 years. I have always worn progressive lens glasses. I recently visited Discount Glasses in Orange City Florida for an eye exam and replacement lenses. My eyes were examined by their resident alleged optometrist and new lenses were ordered as per his specifications. When I returned several days later to pick up my glasses I discovered by looking down my nose at the small card placed on the table in front of me I could read the small print. I could also see the trees in the distance fairly clearly. but I could not read his plaques on the wall and I mentioned this to the woman who fitted my glasses. she said she felt sure that my eyes would adjust to my new glasses and everything would be fine. However after 5 days with my new glasses I was unable to work at my computer or see anything clearly in the middle distance. I Returned to Discount Glasses in Orange City and they reexamined my eyes and Doctor Dolittle told me that my glasses were perfect and there was nothing else to be done. So now while I can use my glasses to drive and walk around, if I want to work on my computer I have to wear my six-year-old progressive lens glasses to see the screen. I would therefore strongly recommend that anyone needing glasses avoid this place and that alleged optometrist like the plague.
