Dr. Shuler is very thorough. I have been to her twice for concerns with my eyes. The wait was a little longer than expected but she did have two waiting rooms full of patients. I love them having a beach location. It makes it very convenient when I have an appointment.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shuler for quite a few years since I was diagnosed with AMD in both eyes. Early last fall I noticed a peculiar aspect to the vision in my left eye. Even though it was a weekend I phoned immediately as she had been instructing me to do at every visit if there were ever any changes in my vision. I was seen first thing Monday morning to discover my left eye had changed to wet AMD and I received my first injection. The injections were done every four weeks until my first visit in early January. As my eye had improved, mostly because we caught it early, I was allowed six week intervals, same for my first visit six weeks later. Yesterday the anomaly returned, I phoned the office and was given an 8:05 appointment for today and even though there was very little fluid she was glad I noticed it quickly did an injection and told me my next appointment would be in eight weeks unless something changed. Dr. Shuler's advice at every six month visit over the years has probably saved my vision as I heeded it immediately as she asked me to. If you have AMD please use your Amsler Grid at least weekly and call your retina specialist as soon as possible, the damage to your vision can be done in a short time, please don't wait. BTW the injections are not painful even though it is a bit frightening, your eye is do numb that all you feel is a bit of pressure.

I feel that I'm receiving the best care possible for my retina issue. She is a very knowledgeable and thorough with the eye care she provides to me. Hands down the BEST.

Everyone from the receptionist to Dr Schuler treat me with TLC. They make a very scary procedure much easier for me. They are all knowledgeable and very kind.

Dr. Shuler acts in the best interest of her patients. She's efficient and pleasant. I'm happy to have this level of care in Panama City Beach.

Dr. shular is amazing, caring and knowledgeable and all the staff are very friendly also. The only issue I have is with Dr. Shular's male tech who speaks to the patient before she enters the room, not that I would call how he interacts with the patient is speaking, I would call it more of an interrogation, in a very demeaning manner, when my daughter was trying to describe what she has and is still experiencing. We could even overhear him outside the exam room basically calling my daughter a liar about her previous diagnosis but the doctor did confirm her diagnosis. However due to the techs behavior my daughter was not able to explain all that she has been experiencing. He has no empathy or bedside manner and he needs putting in check! This experience really upset my daughter.
