Today was my first time visiting FLEI. The service was excellent and clearly professional with not only how they handled patients, but with their level of service. Dr. Ilan and his technician, Jose were able to handle all of my questions and I felt very comfortable confiding with them whatever eye related concerns I had before coming in. Overall, this practice is AMAZING! I highly recommend anyone in need of an ophthalmologist who equally is skilled and who cares.

My mother has been coming here for the last 2 years to both Dr. Epstein and Dr. Lara. While the doctors are wonderful, the appointments run very long. We will be in the office 2.5-3 hrs almost every visit. Epsteins visits run shorter.
The phone customer service is terrible. You are on an endless cycle of being on hold, sometimes over 30 minutes before someone picks up. The clientele is majority elderly. They need to have a better system in place for incoming calls. Leaving a message only results in not getting a call back until the next day. I have witnessed the frustration it causes my mother trying to reach this office to reschedule appointments. I have experienced it with her as well. Please do better, especially knowing the population of clients.

The Experience with the doctor was good. Took a long time though we were there 3 hours, and after that we waited to see the surgical coordinated. We waited another hour and then we had to leave my wife's Diabetic. She couldn't be that long without eating. The surgical coordinator said she would call, however she never got back to us, we went back a week later, though the receptionist she again said I will call you, we had already waited a week, I then I asked if we could see her now, they told us she was busy just have a seat, i ask if there was a timeframe or if we could just make an appointment to see her no time frame. Anyway we our going somewhere else to get the cataract surgery

I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer and pinch of skin removed from my lower lids by Dr Aliza Epstein. I was most concerned about the incisions on my lower lid but trusted Dr Aliza's recommendation. I'm so glad I did. It smoothed out my skin so nicely under my eyes. My results are very natural looking. I don't look tired anymore! Dr Aliza is an amazing surgeon. I was impressed when I first met with her. She followed up with me right after my surgery. I had some concerns during my healing and she called me immediately and saw me the next day. The office is also very professional and I couldn't be happier that I decided to have her perform my surgery.
