Sam's Club Optical Center

Absolutely useless staff! I saw Dr. Lovett about 4-5 months ago for an exam. It was my first time to use Sam's Optical Center. I have no problem with the Dr himself, as far as my exam goes. I can't say the same for the staff. Even on that initial visit, they weren't the nicest bunch around. They don't even say HELLO when you walk up the the counter. It was one of the most unwelcome environments I've been to. My husband and I spent a lot of money getting glasses and contacts there. But what really pissed me off was their refusal to help with information missing from the eyeglasses prescription that they gave me! I had to replace the eyeglasses I got from them after my new puppy ate them. I elected to purchase the replacement glasses from another company, and I believe that's why they are so difficult and snotty, refusing to help. I went up there and got the required written prescription. Come to find out, it was missing required information for the other place to make them. So I called them to get the one number that was missing from the script (pupil distance). She cited HIPAA and said she couldn't release it to me on the phone but I could come back up there and she would reprint the same prescription for me..... Keeping in mind the script is missing the required information, and she said she would just reprint the same thing. I mean, REALLY??!! You failed to do your job the first time, the 2nd time and now you want me to come up there a 3rd time just to get a copy of the same prescription that is missing information? Just so I can get my glasses after paying YOU for an exam? Never again!!! You lost 2 customers over your attitude problem and refusal to do your job.

Worse eye exam. We have been going to Dr Lovett for years but this time he rushed through the exam and prescribed lens double the old ones even after i told him I could see better without my glasses. Never put both lens up for me to see through. Took 2 changes of lens at another place to almost get my glasses right. Still not perfect. My husband also had problems

I was happy with the exam and the $200+ sunglasses I ordered were great for about 10-months and then the coating started to peal off around the edges. I took them in and was told they have zero warranty on their materials and workmanship unless you purchase a warranty! I didn't purchase the warranty because I planned to take good care of them and didn't realize absolutely nothing is covered. The lady that helped me was kind enough to give me a printed copy of my prescription (the one I had was in the optometrist's handwriting and completely illegible) and concurred that I can probably get better glasses for less money from Zenni Optical.

Dr. Jolene Gregg is fantastic, she is very respectful, thorough and straightforward. The Optical Technicians are awesome too. The Manager has went out of his way to help me and make things right in the past. They have a vast collection of modern, sport or safety eye glasses. Many contact options as well, if you are a plus member you get a little discount off of frames. I've been coming to this location for 7 years and haven't been disappointed yet.

Dr. Gregg is amazing. She's very thorough and helpful. She explains everything that she sees and gives you ways to have good eye health. Any questions you may have, she makes sure to explain it so you understand it. The price is good, the doctor is good, & the optical staff is friendly. I'd highly recommend going & seeing Dr. Gregg for all of your eye care needs.

I have been going to this location for Eye appointments for years now. They are great. This is the second Dr I have been with her and couldn't be happier. I went to Center for Sight ones a few years ago and feel that the Sams experience is MUCH better not to mention much cheaper. Highly recommend both the DR and the rest of the Optical staff.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Jim and Rose. Their customer service is outstanding! Sam's Optical department is lucky to have them both!

Dr Todd and staff go above and beyond when an emergency eye exam arose would definitely recommend there service!!!
