Dr shoemaker and his staff were great. Super professional in all ways. I had one eye done Monday and another done Tuesday. It's Wednesday night and while I know I have a lot of healing to do still - I already see better than I have since I was about ten! Could not get surgery for eight months in Maine. Dr Shoemaker got me in two weeks after I got to my winter home nokomis fl. He said my cataract stress was 3.5 on a scale of 4. He did the eye that made me not able to drive and was falling on stairs first the other the next day the surgery was quick. His whole staff professional and friendly...I opted for basic lens because of insurance restrictions...quick healing and long range sight at 75 back to where I was at 25....I can read most things without glasses just readers for very fine print after 15 years with glasses.... Happy I had Dr Shoemaker take care of me while I was here for winter
