Center For Sight: Priya Mathews M.D. M.P.H.

Dr Mathews and her staff were outstanding. I went for Cararact surgery removal on my right eye on December 17th and surgery on my left eye on December 22nd. I was extremely nervous and the nurses and anesthesiologist were outstanding. They explained everything in detail and made me relax and put me at ease. Thanks to all of the staff. Also a special thanks to Dr Werner and her staff. Dr Mathews is incredible and I would highly recommend her.

Very professional. All nice techs. Jorge was great. Knowledgable. Dr Mathews was charming and went thru everything wih me. I trust my cataract surgery will go smoothly.

Outstanding Dr and extremely knwledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend. Unfortunately Priya is the lone highlight. Operationally the place is a disaster, with high wait times, cant refill eye drops after 3 attempts, finger pointing, running out of rooms. The place just smells of the classic private equity acquisition with a goal of making all the DRs see more patients to drive more revenue without any care for the customer experience.

Had cataract surgery yesterday (will have the other eye done next week), and the staff at the Sarasota outpatient surgery center were uniformly courteous and friendly, with each person introducing themselves, an expected but often overlooked protocol at other medical offices. All pre-op and suite procedures were explained beforehand and with dozens of cataract surgeries each day, my visit proceeded with smooth efficiency. The procedure(s) took scant minutes, with minimal discomfort. Amazing! My only slight glitches were (1) my hard-to-find veins that caused multiple attempts to install an IV (but that's more MY uncooperative anatomy than my nurse's expertise, who passed the job to my anaesthesiologist), and (2) with my visible dual cochlear implants it's more challenging for me to catch all conversation directed at me if/when the speaker is walking ahead of me and also facing forward. That situation might fall under the "less than 1%" category but with cataract patients typically more aged, I wonder if more patients might appreciate a little more face-to-face orientation when important medical information/questions/instructions are given. I'm happy to recommend this facility and its staff and of course my superb doctor, Dr. Priya Mathews!

While I didn't have much interaction with Dr. Matthew's, she is a skilled surgeon and did a great job. The follow up appointments were frustrating. Both appointments had a75 to 90 minute wait to see the optometrist. As a full time caregiver for a spouse with Alzheimer's, the long wait was very stressful as he was alone longer than anticipated.

Oh my! Dr Mathews had exceed my exceptions. She is very professional but personable at the same time. Very nervous about this decision but she and her staff made it easy. From the tome I walked in to the time I left it was a was a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

The people at the facility are very nice. The prep and procedure I had done went very smoothly. Each person explained what they were doing and what to expect. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of issues getting in touch with the right person when you call in. I have concerns following my procedure and I'm experiencing problems getting a response.

My wife was there for cataracts to be removed and her experience with the staff was excellent The doctors everybody involved. She was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, their kindness, their helpfulness. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is having issues with their sight
