This was the best experience I have ever had with a doctor. I woke up with floaties and light flashes in my left eye, I had never experienced anything like it before. I was able to make an appointment with an OD just to figure out a next step. They called me back and said I really needed to see a retina specialist and Dr. Shane was one of the recommendations. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. From the moment we walked in and were greeted we felt like we were in the right place. We were well taken care of. We were treated professionally and respectfully. Everything was explained thoroughly and in terms we could understand. All our questions were answered and we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend Dr Shane. Oh, the diagnosis, I'm getting old, what I was experiencing is normal as we age.

As a result of the surgery I am seeing better than I have in many years. Vitrechtomy surgery in both eyes now have removed all the floaters, which for a pilot takes away all those little airplanes coming at me that are really NOT airplanes but floaters. As a result, I have extremely clear vision. I am MOST GRATEFUL TO DR. SHANE and his fine team!

This was the most thorough eye exam that I have ever had. From the very beginning, making an appointment was simple and easy. I talked to a person immediately. Upon arriving, the receptionist was friendly and efficient. Sami, my tech, was very knowledgeable and professional. I felt very confident in the tests she performed. Dr. Singla did additional testing and explained macular degeneration in a simple and thorough way. Dr Shane was also excellent explaining treatments and the disease. I would like to give this medical office a 10 star, not 5!!!!!! They are knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and friendly.

Having had cataract surgery by a different practice, I was experiencing floaters that were making my daily work and life miserable. I was suggested to him by the surgeons office who performed my cataract surgery. From the first meeting to the actual follow up surgery in both eyes of a vitrectomy everything was great. I now have clear vision with no floaters at all. Recovery time was great, and his practice staff is fantastic. While I have had some follow up complications, his practice is definitely on top of them and makes sure I am getting the care needed.

I could never say enough nice things about this practice. Everyone there is superb. I will single out Ayah for special mention. I was very routinely receiving shots in both eyes for MD from my previous ophthalmologist. I became suspicious so I went to Dr. Shane's office (on the referral of a friend) for a second opinion, and I haven't had a shot since. 'Nuff said.
