Best experience ever! I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone. Amanda did my initial exam and she made my day with her kindness and positive outlook! Dr. Crump was professional, thorough, and efficient. Great optometrist Arden was absolutely amazing. I spent 2 hours trying on frames and she was unbelievably helpful. I wanted larger frames and she even popped out lenses from sunglasses so I could see if I liked those frames! She really knew her stuff from start to finish. She explained everything to me about my insurance, was very knowledgeable (in all realms), and educated me about different lense types. I wanted anti-glare, scratch resistant lenses with a blue screen filter, and she was great in explaining - well, everything - including how the anti-glare would help with my astigmatism. She spent so much time with me to ensure I got the frames I wanted. She introduced me to a new style I would have never thought of getting and I ended up loving them. I was dead set on a particular second pair, but she hand picked a similar style and it looked SO much better on me! I'm so grateful to her expertise. I truly can't say enough good things about my experience here. There is a huge selection, everyone was friendly, accommodating, affordable, and everything was effortless. No waiting and no pressured sales. Plus, both pairs of my special ordered glasses will be there in under 10 days! I am SO happy I chose Eyeglass World and had the absolute pleasure of partaking in Arden's unbeatable customer service. I'm going to make sure to have her be the one to fit my glasses upon pickup! Never going anywhere else, 10 stars!

Very impressed by the excellent service we received at the Cattlemen Rd location in Sarasota. My daughter had purchased 2 pair of glasses at the Port Charlotte location. Unfortunately they were unable to make them to my daughters satisfaction. Sabrina look care of us without hesitation. Went above and beyond to make my daughter a happy customer. We are truly grateful for the amazing service and care from Sabrina. We have been going to Eyeglass World for a long time and will continue to do so in the future.

Sabrena ( store mgr) assisted me ... I purchased three pairs of glasses and I'm pleased to report her service was exceptionally professional, courteous, accommodating and effective. I purchased on Friday evening and my glasses were ready Monday afternoon. I feel the value I received was also exceptional. I recommend doing business this Eyeglass World store

This afternoon I went to Eyeglass World as an arm had fallen off of a pair of my reading glasses. Upon entering, I was warmly and immediately welcomed by Kay. She ushered me over to her desk...I showed her the problem...and she said that the glasses were still under warranty. As it turned out, the same pair of glasses were in stock. Kay retrieved them and proceeded to change out my lenses. Not only that, she noticed that a lenses in the sun glasses that I was wearing had a lense that was about 9to pop out. (These glasses had not been purchased at Eyeglass World). Kay took the glasses...heated them up for a bit and made them good as new! My experience at Eyeglass world was wonderful...and Kay was just so nice... proficient...and accommodating. Sure wish more salespersons could be like Kay. Just got contacts for the first time and had no clue how to use them and to be honest a bit nervous. Amanda was so helpful and patient with me as she taught me how to insert and remove them. I had no trouble putting them in but getting them out was so scary and challenging for me. She repeatedly inserted and removed a contact from her own eye to let me watch and she sat with me while I practiced until I felt confident on my own and now 2 days later I'm whipping those contacts out no problem! Thank you Amanda! You were awesome! Everyone nervous about contacts should learn from you!

Everything was great, and the waiting time was minimal. However, I was disappointed with one aspect of our visit. My husband does not speak or understand English very well, and when Crystal the front end manager was conducting the exam using the three machines, she proceeded to charge him for it even though I had clearly stated during my own exam that it was not necessary. It was evident that my husband's understanding of English was limited, yet she did not seek clarification from me before proceeding. I believe this could have been avoided with better communication and awareness. Additionally, Crystal did not informed me that I had the option to get my glasses with transition polarized lenses. I would have appreciated having that option explained to me during my visit instead of now having to pay another $160.

Very nice place, I had a vision test by the doctor and they helped me find a frame and I picked up my glasses about a week later. They submitted my insurance and they are very efficient. I will be returning this year.
