I have been a patient of Dr. Marschner almost since the beginning of his practice and have always received the best of care. Recently I had an emergency and Dr. Marschner was able to see me the same day and provided the care I needed.

Michelle always works me in where possible. Great service. And Dr Marschner is NOT a one-trick pony like those big box laser/cataract operations. He listens and tailors his care to the patient and explains thoroughly all the options.

Dr. Richard Marschner recently did the cataract surgery for my right eye. Needless to say, I am glad having him as my eye doctor, and very pleased with his superb talent and patience as an eye surgeon. He listened and clearly addressed all my questions and concerns. Also, the staff at his office is nice and helpful, and waiting time is very short. In addition, the staff and nurses at the Sarasota Physicians Surgical Center are patient and friendly. I have no reservations at all in recommending Dr. Marschner as the doctor for your eye cataract surgery or for any other eye problems.

6/25-One of very few physicians offices that I actually look forward to visiting. Dr. Marschner, as well as his entire staff are VERY pleasant to deal with. Also, I had the first of my two cataracts surgically implanted about 3 weeks ago, and I'm looking forward to having the second one, in about another 3 weeks. The results were absolutely amazing!!! So, I just had my right cataract removed and the new lens put in on Monday, and the difference is truly remarkable. And, even though there were some challenges Dr Marschner was completely nonplussed, and the results are wonderful. Obviously I had never had cataract surgery before, and there are many choices. Dr. Marschner broke down the differences and explained all of the advantages and disadvantages, as they related to my near-unique condition. I spoke to a dear friend yesterday, and she told me that her experience with cataracts was horrible... She went to an office that had several ophthalmologists, and she stated she never got the personal service that I did at Dr. Marshner's office. She told me that they offered her essentially a good, better, best situation with an explanation that she did not entirely understand, but felt rushed, as her appointment was running overtime, so choose "better". Folks, these surgeries are made to last you for the balance of your life, and I strongly encourage everybody to research carefully. You deserve quality Health Care, and there's no reason you should not get it! Best of luck to you! By the way, my final appointment was yesterday, and I have 20/20 vision, at distance, and I wear 2.0 strength readers for very close work... Not bad for 75 years old.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marschner for over 6 years and have been very pleased. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful, and spends the time you need with you. I don't think I have ever waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment, and usually they are exactly on time. Dr. Marschner performed cataract surgery on me last year and I have had excellent results.

I find Dr. Marschner's practice exemplary in every way. First, appointments are on time. (Few doctors today seem to respect their patients' personal time.) When you arrive for an appointment, no one fumbles to figure out why you are there. Secondly, all the support staff are friendly, kind, and helpful. Finally, Dr. Marschner is an extraordinary doctor. He is all business, very little small talk. Your records are at his fingertips at all times, and he gives thought to your medical history. He's incredibly thorough and bases his decisions and recommendations on a variety of data points. Lastly, and of most importance to me, Dr. Marschner performed my cataract surgery and lens implants. Everything has gone well. My vision is very close to 20/20 and my astigmatism is gone. Was it a miracle? No. It was exemplary work performed by a proficient ophthalmologist and his support staff. Obviously, I recommend him to anyone who wishes to work with a great ophthalmologist.

I have been a patient of Dr Marschner for many years and the Girls in the office are always professional and very pleasant. Jenni always greets us with a smile and makes us feel comfortable. Dr Marschner knows his stuff, he answers any questions you might have regarding your situation and advises on correct eye drops to use as well as vitamins. Both my Husband and I are his patients. My Husband had both cataracts done there and I have had my right eye cataract done. Everything was done perfectly. Dr Marschner is the best Ophthalmologist! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I was impressed with the amount of time spent with me by Dr. Marschner. It was my first visit and I felt he was very thorough in his diagnosis and interest in my condition.
