What an awesome experience with Mahsa and Ron at Soto's Opticians, from the first time I met them on the 13th of August it was the personal touch that made me want to buy a pair of eyeglasses from them. The store had already closed but the door was open and I walked in and instead of saying we are closed, the attitude was completely the opposite and welcoming and friendly. They spent another hour and a half with me. I picked out a Unique Swissflex frame that I had never seen anywhere else and made the purchase and today on a Sunday they opened the store when normally they are closed to deliver it to me! Service! Service! Service! Quality! Quality! Quality! Everything done in house and backed with a warranty and a smile and pride! You have earned a long term friend and a following!

I sat on my glasses and smashed them and immediately thought I would have to get a new pair. On the internet found that Soto's Optical Boutique located on Main Street in Sarasota carried the brand of glasses that I destroyed. Walked into the store, was kindly greeted and then had the great fortune to meet Ron Soto. Explained what happened and he went to work on fixing the frames. He explained that working with titanium frames requires slow steady pressure as he reshaped them back to normal. After a couple of adjustments my glasses were perfect!
Before I left I looked around at a very well stocked and impressive gallery with an onsite lab and a knowledgeable and friendly staff that is committed to customer service and satisfaction. I was very impressed with my experience and highly recommend Soto's Optical Boutique!

I hadn't bought new glasses in nearly 10 years because modern frames all seem like cheap Chinese junk. I kept replacing lenses in my old, high quality frames until my eye doctor intervened and sent me here. Wow!
This shop is owned and run by Ron and Mahsa, and it shows. They're meticulous, patient, and clearly obsessed with doing things right. I expected to buy one pair but walked out with five, and they're the best looking, highest quality glasses I've ever owned. They went above and beyond with adjustments and follow ups to make sure everything was perfect.
I'm super picky and don't give praise easily, but this place gets an 11 out of 10.

We work with adults coming out of homelessness who are living with mental illness, and one of our residents had an unexpected eyeglass emergency right before starting a new job at Publix. As you can imagine, this was a huge moment for them.
Ron and his team didn't just fix the glasses, they took care of everything. They reframed them, replaced the lenses, and even provided a backup pair so there wouldn't be any issues moving forward.
We're incredibly grateful. This is what community looks like when we come together to solve a program.

Awesome Optical shop in downtown Sarasota! Every part of the experience was fantastic. From the exam, the frame selection, and incredible staff! While getting new glasses and changing out lenses in two other pairs of glasses, my prescription changed. They swapped my lenses for the new prescription and darkened my lenses to accommodate my light sensitive eyes, all at no charge! In addition because they wanted to be sure my glasses worked for me they did all this past the 90 day exchange guarantee! Can't say enough great things about this team!
