Today i had my eye procedure and I can't say enough about the excellent customer service I received from the moment I walked in until I was discharged. I was greeted by Carmen who walked me through the checking process. Nurse Ana explained every step of the prep. Not only was she efficient but pleasantly funny with her delivery of directives. Dr. Padminabin she was Calming as you would want an anesthesiologist to be. The rest of surgical team illustrated the same level of professionalism not easily found. It was extremely refreshing. I felt truly cared for. I will not for 1 moment hesitate to recommend BAPTIST EYE SURGERY CENTER SUNRISE. Thanks much Team.

I had a very good experience. Everyone was so courteous and competent from the Baptist transportation, the young man was on time, Carmen got me checked in and the Nurses, techs, Dr's were great! Dr. Skolnick did the laser to my cataract and put in a lens and will do the same to the OD this week. A shout out and Daisy Awards to Carissa & Kim who were real gem's. They treated me like a VIP. Carissa admitted me, explained the procedure, answered all my questions and got me all hooked up. She was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and very kind. She put me very much at ease. Then Kim came along to takle some stubborn rolly, polly veins but she got that IV in with minimal trauma. She is a very good stick and so is Carissa. Both kept apologizing if they were hurting me and they were not. They were most skillful! Kim continued to monitor my wellbeing throughout and even got me a cup of coffee after my procedure which to me was above and beyond. I hope she is my Nurse again on 2/27/2025 when my OD is done. This whole process dealing with these Cataracts has gone very well with Dr Skolnick who is very knowledgeable and experienced and this Baptist Health Surgery Center in Sunrise Florida on Pine Island Rd. Thank you all! It has been worth it. My world is looking brighter!

Amazing facility. Prompt check in. All the staff were courteous and professional. They explained every aspect of my procedure from start to finish. Answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable throughout my procedure. Everyone introduced themselves. I interacted with Carmen C, Coral,Carissa,Marco,Kim and Julie. All were amazing. I was anxious before my procedure and they all helped relieve my anxiety.

Carmen greeted me warmly & this started my successful journey. Rebecca saw me next & helped me feel more at ease. David was also a great team player. The anesthesiologist provided details & more assurance. Tracy discharged me & was another outstanding team member. ALL were excellent . I hope I did not leave anyone out. VERY important was Dr. K. Skolnick who performed the skilled cataract surgery. If I missed anyone , forgive me. THANK YOU all SO much. FYI- no pain.

A Truly Exceptional Experience at Baptist Eye Surgery Center - Sunrise From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for. The front desk team was warm and attentive, and Kim--who prepared Sid for his initial entry into the patient area--was an absolute angel. She explained every step, handled him with patience, and set the tone for a compassionate experience. The nurses were extraordinary. They allowed me to stay by Sid's side from the very beginning, through the pre-operation process. Sitting next to him while he was cold, exhausted, in pain, and understandably nervous meant everything--and they supported us both with such gentleness. Their reassurance, calm energy, and attentive presence made a frightening moment feel manageable. Post-op, the team continued to shine. I wish I could remember their names, because they were incredible--soft-spoken, gentle to the touch, and highly attentive. They monitored Sid with genuine care and made sure I understood everything before heading home. They didn't rush us; instead, they let me stay until his pain and discomfort had eased. And Dr. Kubal... outstanding. He took the time to find me in the lobby after the procedure, walked me through what happened, and ensured I felt informed and supported. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us. The only thing I wish could be improved is the post-op environment. Since these are eye surgery patients--often sensitive to light, tired, or in discomfort--a more zen, calming recovery space would make a huge difference. The bright lights, cold temperature, and loud conversations in the room made it less relaxing during a moment when peace is truly needed. A softer, quieter, warmer post-op environment would elevate an already exceptional experience. Overall, we left feeling cared for, respected, and truly seen. I cannot thank the entire Baptist Eye Surgery Center - Sunrise team enough for their compassion during such a stressful and emotional time. They treated Sid like family--and treated me like a partner in his care. Highly recommended.

My experience was great! Dr. Leonard and her staff are fantastic! Every step of the way each person told me exactly what they were doing. I was extremely comfortable the entire time I was there. I would like to thank Anna, Ellina, Shannon, Unaldo, Whitney and Bernice. Dr. Leonard was amazing and I am so grateful that I chose her for my cataract surgery. She and her team are wonderful.

The facility was clean and staff was very kind and efficient. I especially appreciated the warmed blanket! Dr. Skolnick was reassuring and very knowledgeable about all aspects of my surgery and anticipated possible questions and concerns. It was a positive experience to improve my vision.
