Clarkson Eyecare

I gave them my Tom Ford glasses and they sent them off to get prescription lenses and they threw away my original lenses without my consent or informing me.I didn't purchase my Tom Ford glasses from Clarkson Eyecare.I previous had my balenciaga glasses done there and my bottega glasses done there and received the lenses back. The manager said the protocol is to toss them out. She was rude and was over talking the receptionist that I was speaking to. I won't be back. It was my property and she showed no remorse or offered compensation for throwing my lenses out.The micro aggression was very immature from the store manager (she's new btw) but the optometrist are really great professional people(Dr.Lilly)...I'm not upset, I will take my business and money elsewhere. It's that simple. I advise you to stay away from here until the store manager is replaced.

Dr. Lilly is the best eye doctor I have ever had. My whole family goes to her. If you want someone who is knowledgeable and compassionate, she is the one to see.

Clarkson Eye has a 5 star optometrist! She was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Wait time was only 5 minutes. Eye glass frame inventory was decent and favors the budget minded with a two for one sale. This was my first exam at Clarkson but I will be returning for my future annual exams.

Dr. Mary Lilly is very thorough with the examination, listens well, and answers all questions. The optical team were very kind and provided personal service with a smile. Very knowledgeable.

I made an appointment with their call center for Wednesday 10/22 at 12 noon. When I arrived at 11:58 I was told the Dr. is doubled booked and unfortunately I can't be seen the call center screwed up. I let them know. I was going on vacation on Saturday and need to be seen today. The staff was not very helpful. Just asked if I can come back tomorrow. I told him I have a real job. I can't just takeoff from work. I said I guess I will have to go elsewhere. No apologies no I'm sorry. DON' T EVER GO HERE THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DON' T CARE ABOUT YOU.

Everyone there is very nice, my kid was happy during his consultation, especially with the toys he received at the end of it .

Both my wife and I have been coming here for several years and have yet to have a good experience; from being misinformed about our insurance benefits to consistently receiving random additional charges a month after an appointment to sending our orders to the wrong place, it's been nothing but a headache. The final straw was tearing a lens and going in to get a trial pair to tie me over until my appointment next week. I was given a pair that were literally worse than no correction (I couldn't see past 12" from my face with them in). They insisted it was the same brand/rx they gave me last year and that my vision "must have changed", but when I asked how that could be the case when the one lens I still had from my last visit worked just fine, they couldn't answer. Given their track record I'm sure something, somewhere, got mixed up but I've run out of patience dealing with their ineptitude. I've been wearing correction for 20 years and seen 5 different optometrists across the bay area, and this is by far the worst office I've been to.

Had two different appointments to get my daughter contacts. On the first occasion, she had an eye exam but was unable to finish her appointment due to an employee being "in training". We were told to come back at 9 AM the next day. Upon our arrival the next day, we were sat in front of a computer to watch a YouTube video about contacts. When I informed an employee the video was over, I was told an employee would be with us in a minute. 15 minutes later, I inquired again and was told Hanna wasn't in, was supposed to be in already and they had no idea where she was. I asked for help from another employee since there were two there and they declined, stating Hanna was the only one who could help us. This made two appointments now that we went to and the store was unable to provide a service. I specifically asked for another employee to help us and was told "no". No one ever apologized for the inconvenience or for upsetting my daughter. My wife went to the store later in the morning to get my daughter's prescription and they refused to give it to her. My wife and I both bought glasses from this place in the past. The customer service wasn't the best in the past but this time it was terrible. We paid for a second eye exam at another business just to get her contacts in a timely manner. We will never return to Clarkson.
