Dr Helms showed patience and kindness during a lengthy and unusual situation during the process of my yearly eye evaluation. He listened carefully to my concerns and responded appropriately to resolve the situation. I am thoroughly pleased with the entire team in the vision center. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The self pay price is similar to other offices in the area. As I understand, appointments than cannot be confirmed via telephone or email are canceled... just an Fyi for the comments regarding cancellation of appointments.

Arrived at 15 minutes until 1:00 pm to have a prescription filled for one contact for one eye. The so called receptionist told me that the doctor was leaving for lunch at 1:00 pm and they couldn't take any orders until after 2:00 pm. EXCUSE ME!!!!! You mean to tell me that a doctor can't look at one small contact prescription in a 15 minute time frame????? YOU SUCK!!!

I had an appointment but arrived and was told it had been cancelled. Apparently a computer system change caused problem that they were aware of but made no attempt to mitigate problems for patients. I really like Dr. Helms but will be looking for better service provider than Wal-Mart Health.

My appointment has been cancelled. I e been waiting for weeks. They cancel 3 days until my appointment. Not professional. Maybe the doctor just don't want to work on a Saturday. I'm not the only review about a canceled appointment.
