Dr.Leah is very pleasant, personable and very thorough doctor. The front office is the weak spot for her business. The tech was also very friendly and knowledgeable. However, the sales representative with the glasses was not interested in what I was asking esp when she realized I wasn't purchasing glasses. Her demeanor was very disconcerting. I purchased glasses from there in 2024 with what I thought was a lifetime warranty the representative at the time assured me that there would be no peeling when it comes to the actual lens. I even paid for scratch resistant lenses. My lenses are scratched and peeling. I asked what could be done about it. She nonchalantly said that she could give me a discount of $200 on new lenses because my warranty was only for one year. I felt that she was being dishonest with this statement simply because she kept repeating the same information with a twist. I explained several times that the representative assured me over and over that I would not have to be dealing with peeling and I was getting scratch resistant lenses. There was no time limit Discussed when it came to the warranty, my assumption was it was for the life of the glasses I've been going there for over five years and have referred civil persons to them. I will no longer refer people to them simply because I felt like I was getting taken advantage of when it came to the pricing, even the tech comfortable telling me that I had to pay for an exam because I have a astigmatism as I stated I've been going there for five years now and I've never had to pay for an exam because my insurance always covered it. When asked when did this policy Change? No one could confirm. I really like hate to leave Dr. Leah Because she's very good at what she does, but I'm not sure if I'll be returning and I definitely will not refer anyone else.
Dr. McFerren is a down to earth person and each time I visit her office, her and the staff are always very polite. They make me feel as if I'm at home. I highly recommend her to all of my friends and family members.
On time staff was greeting and pleasant doctor wonderful my daughter was the patient and she is shy she was happy with the service and as soon as we got outside to leave she said I like them good job to you all keep up the great work
Dr. McFerren is a super eye doctor, very thorough and so friendly. I wasn't too impressed with the front waiting room ,too congested, no room. Also, the lady that handles the purchases and fitting for eyeglasses, was too pushy and rushed, not too much patience. Overall, the rest of the staff was fantastic!
I was very pleased with my initial interaction; Dr. McFerren was very pleasant and caring. She carefully explained how to manage eye discomfort. I highly recommend this very unique business!
Front office staff takes advantage of the elderly with medicare/medicaid assistance. My mother visited this establishment because she was referred by a friend. She had a great visit with the doctor.
Upon getting to the front to select glasses she told the staff person Kimi that she was trying to stay within her Medicare limits. After all the things were added to the glasses they say she owes $79. My mother is trying to understand why she owes as she has a high limit with Medicare.
Upon reviewing her receipt I see she was charged $150 for transitions. She said Kimi told her it was no additional cost and that the glasses would be the same price with or without. Clearly not if the itemized receipt shows it at $150. I told my mother that just because she gets an exam at the place doesn't mean she has to buy glasses with them. When she went to cancel her order within a couple of hours she was told it had already been processed and it would cost her $75 to cancel.
All of this is bad business. My mother was adamant about staying within limits so she wouldn't have to come out of pocket. These people took advantage of her slow understanding of things and took her money.
You've been warned. Sad that I'll have to now monitor her vision exams going forward.
Im very disappointed in the service i received from front office staff today . I have been a patient for years . Schedule my appointment a week ago with pricing my insurance. Several calls and text message to confirm appointment. Day of appointment after sitting there filing out paperwork, was informed insurance not accepted. This information could have been provided to me over phone after in taking all my info over phone a week ago when you ran it . Very dissatisfied, disappointed and will never inquire of doctor service again .
I experienced a very pleasant atmosphere from front desk to a pleasant Office visit with Dr. Leah and her technician. I feel very comfortable having my eyes checked by this facility. I would recommend her to others.
