Walmart Vision & Glasses

I visted the Vision Center yesterday, and had an exemplary experience from the exam all the way through check out. Employee Luvv was extremely helpful and patient as I tried multiple pairs of frames. I highly recommend them for your vision care.

LuvV and Debora were lifesavers! I'm from Charlotte traveling for work & family this weekend in Atlanta, and I'm legally blind. I've had a rough day after traveling, getting here and dealing with scheduling conflicts, only to have my glasses practically disintegrate on me. The screws snapped and I was left with a pair of redundant frames. Walmart was nearby, so I stopped and asked the Vision & Glasses workers (LuvV & Debora) if they would be able to do a quick fix, or if I would have to schedule an appointment. Debora multitasked with customers while LuvV pulled me to the side to help me just before she was leaving for lunch! Not only did she offer to fix my glasses, but she insisted! They came back straighter and cleaner than when I had them. And all she asked in return was for me to have a safe trip home. Two life-savers. If I lived in Atlanta, this would be my go-to place for anything vision-wise. Hopefully they're both recognized for their kindness soon. These are the types of people that you remember at a business.

This vision center has exceeded my expectations. After having a bad experience with the vision center in morrow this vision center definitely has made up for their bad customer service. The receptionist at the appointment desk was super helpful and the sweetest ever. The eye doctor is the nicest and super informative, with both of them they made my experience the best. Thank you for your great service.

I will never come back here again. I have been running around in circles attempting to get a renewed prescription on contacts. First, I was with America's Best; I used their contacts for a year and the prescription expired. I decided to get a yearly exam here and it was okay at first. The doc was quick and friendly. I was told my insurance wasn't in network with them. But my insurance works better at America's Best. So I took my new prescription to AB. They told me they couldn't take the prescription provided by Walmart. THEN I came back to Walmart and tried to explain to the receptionist the issue. I can tell when someone isn't truly understanding or hearing what I'm saying and she didn't. She was rude and just wanted to get me out of the way. The doctor was with someone and I waited. He said he'd be right with me without even asking ME what the issue is and as a result he gave me and INCORRECT prescription. I told them which one and when I went back to AB they told me they couldn't use that prescription either DESPITE me showing and telling the receptionist which one. I have been dealing with this for 2 to 3 months now, having to schedule appointments and hope that someone finally listens. There needs to be better communication and someone new at the front desk with better customer service and a better attitude.

Dr. Brown may be pregnant, but she is ALWAYS available, with a smile and is thorough in her work. She has taken care of both me and my 5 year old and has done an excellent job. Danitra and the other staff there are very personable and don't rush through the services they are providing. After all, they are in the business of taking care of our sight! People will always try to take out their outside influenced frustrations on others. You just can't please everyone.

They get the job done but they move incessantly too slow and disorganized. You go through hell to schedule an appointment and then when you get there they still treat you like you're a walk-in. The receptionists always has attitudes and moves slow you have to excess extreme patience. The actual doctor is nice and always uber friendly and a lot of times apologizes for the long drawn out process.
