Dr Douglas Day, the front desk staff and techs are all helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone is friendly and Dr Day has been instrumental in my eye health and preserving my vision. I highly recommend.

Highly recommend Woolfson. Every person I dealt with was warm, welcoming, professional & communicative. I have had very positive experiences with Doctors Brody, Gutierrez, & Glass. Eye surgery went great. Understandably long wait in waiting room as they cannot predict what can come up. Nurses are amazing. Brie, Mia, & Sheila plus ones I didn't get their names. Directions for drops & other things are very clear. Go to them!

There is literally no staff that answers the phones here. I always get transferred to a call center out of state. No manager there ever has returned my phone calls and I have been calling for months!!!!!! Seriously?? Staffing sucks. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.

My father and I have been patients here since last year and Dr. Day really treats well both of us. Every staff is also kind and generous and I am glad to be here continuously for any glaucoma related treatment in further. My father is also one hundred percent satisfied all about this office so I couldn't bear my fingers so that made to write this positive review.

At 81 I was losing my sight. So I went to 3 eye surgeons. And the 4 was the worst of all of them. The gal at the desk nasty told me I that I did not have an appointment because she did not go down enough to find my name. Afters waiting 4 month to see Dr. Walrath. I got nasty back. She ran crying back to the doctor. So I had to sit and listen to him be very rude to me. He told the operation he was going to do on me would not work. I went to a 4 Eye Dr. and was told I only needed glasses. So much for all Eye Doctors at 2 at MIlain, Thomas. Please don't let Dr. office treat you this way

Unlike other patients, I was able to schedule a same day appointment at the Cumming location and was greeted by a friendly receptionist, and had a less than 15 minute wait to be seen - hence the 2-star rating. That is where my positive experience with Woolfson Eye Institute ended. Upon entering the examination room, I was asked to remove my contact lens, but there was no sink or soap in the room to wash my hands before doing so. Immediately following all the preliminary eye screenings, I was seen by Dr. Gutierrez and to say I was disappointed, is a gross understatement. I scheduled this urgent appointment for a new and alarming eye concern, and in my opinion, there was no compassion or understanding extended for said concern. In fact, Dr. Gutierrez's interaction with me included zero eye contact while she spoke and offered nothing but a flippant and extremely dismissive attitude towards every question and concern I raised. Each response was coated with a condescending tone and no thorough explanations or information was freely offered about my condition. I even asked several (why? How? And what to expect?) questions to try gain additional information, and it was like pulling teeth to do so. I did finally have an in-office procedure to address my concern, however, that occurred simply because I insisted something be done to address my concern. You would think that because this is an eye procedure, at the very least, facial tissues would be available to dry the tears that would fall. Nope, I was left to use my bare hands to wipe those tears. At the end, there was no post-procedure care info, but you better believe I was told what to look for in case I needed a return visit. Between the ill-equipped room and the terrible "bedside manner" and interaction from the optometrist, why on earth would I return here for any eye concerns? Eye patients beware!!!

Dr Cook did my ICL surgery in 2020. I had little to no options for correcting my vision due to extreme astigmatism's and terrible vision loss. I have nothing but praise for him and their staff. I have been contacts and glasses free since 2020!! It's like a miracle and a dream come true when you have had glasses/contacts for 30 years!
