I visited America's Best Eyewear and Eyecare in GA, and my experience was amazing from start to finish.
I received my annual eye exam, pre-testing, visual field screening, and glasses fitting today. Dr. Hostia, my optometrist, was outstanding--professional, patient, and so easy to talk to.
Mrs. Eden, the technician, was wonderful and made the process smooth.
When I walked in, it truly felt like home. Everyone there is warm, welcoming, and very professional.
Mrs. Crista, my personal eyewear stylist, helped me choose from thousands of beautiful frames--she always finds the perfect pair for me!
Mrs. LaMarsha was also sweet and so helpful throughout my visit.
I absolutely love this location. Highly recommended!
I was greeted by a warm and amazing receptionist when I came to pick up my glasses at America's Best, Decatur store.
In particular Kevin, the Store Manager was thoughtful and thorough in reviewing my prescription making sure that my new eye wear was comfortable and accurate.
In addition Ms. LaMarsha was warm, professional and kind. I loved her smile. She smiled the entire time during my visit.
It is great to feel that your business matters by how people treat you when you come in and when you come back.

Had a wonderful experience on a very crowded Saturday afternoon. Nate helped me with everything. Was courteous and professional. He did his job in a quick manner that made me feel comfortable about him getting the job done, but not rushing! I highly recommend America best !

NOT HAPPY. Have waited for 4 weeks for 2 pair of glasses. Was told 2 more weeks. Will NEVER used this place again. Will be going to any and all competition in future. I recommend you do to! I wish ABC&E lots of luck in their future endeavors!
Decatur location. Eden was very helpful and went through the pretests effectively and explained each machine's purpose. Dr Nguyen was very professional, explained everything and listened to the patient's needs and prescribed what was best for the patient. Mary assisted with the servicing, explained the products, contacts and progressive glasses, and order processing. Very good experience on this visit and the wait time was pretty quick and organized.
On Feb 11th I went to lens crafters for an eye exam. Upon finishing i found out that they took my insurance for the eye exam but they didn't take it for the actual glasses. I called America's best to see if they took my insurance( pictures below) i spoke to someone and then I proceeded to go there. Upon arriving I asked did they have the Meta Ray Ban they told me that they did not carry those yet and directed me to the Alpharetta store. I left and proceeded to call the stores in my area. Talked to someone at another store in Snellville they directed me to the Alpharetta store as well. I finally called the druid hills store . I spoke to a lady there and she said that they had like 2 left. I was directed Don. Told him what I wanted he walked me over to where they were I picked the one's I wanted and went over the lenses. I asked a few questions . He told me the price $187 i paid then left. On March 3rd I came in to pick up my glasses a lady found them cleaned the lenses and gave them to me. They were in a clear case . I asked her how do I charge them. So replied did you bring in the frames or did you buy them here. I told her I paid for everything there . She directed to Don. Upon seeing him he tells me I brought the frames in. I once again told him didn't bring any frames in . He them says that he does this all the time and he didn't make a mistake. The manager asks to see the glasses. Then he says we're missing these from the display and they didn't work. They go over my receipt and say well you only paid for lenses. By this time im already livid. 1st the accusations and next they held no accountability. Next Don gives me a quote of $193.51 for the frames. So I asked to speak to the manager. At first he tried to keep the frames. I told him now I have to wait and I need my glasses. He replied I only paid for the lenses and its my fault because I didn't look at the receipt! I really didn't understand his concept. I told Don what I wanted. Its not my fault that he only charged me $187. I also told him why would I walk in and just buy lenses without any frames. I have no control over Don sending in the display glasses. Furthermore I went to a different store location before I came to druid hills( see timeline below ) If I just wanted lenses I would've of done that at that location which is closer. It makes no sense to call different locations when anyone of them can do that. The manager then gives me these display case glasses and I told him I'd be there March 5th. I'll be filing this with the BBB as well. I left the store and I then called customer service. After several attempts I finally was able to speak to someone that I could clearly understand. I told everything that transpired. She then pulled up all my information and she went over the bill. I then asked her about a $40 tech frame fee.
She replied that she didn't know what that was and I'd have to call the store to find out. Which leads me to believe that all the stores do not charge this. Secondly why am I paying a frame fee. When they said I just paid for lenses. The manager in that store went over everything on that bill besides that fee. Which also comes off as shady. The lady then says she couldn't help me with any discounts I'd have to speak to the manager of the store and she connected me. Before i got the chance to speak to anyone they disconnected the call. This was like the 2nd or 3rd time the call was disconnected. I was so frustrated by then i didn't bother trying to call back. They weren't even willing to compensate for the mistake. Bottom line is Don sold me some display glasses Then accused me of giving them to him. Btw which were gen 1 and now to get the frames that work they're trying to up charge me to gen 2. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at an America's best. The people I engaged are dishonest and hold no accountability for their mishaps. I should of took that drive to Alpharetta.


Worst experience ever at this place. First time, I waited one hour. Dr. Hostia disregarded my concerns and gave me a prescription I didn't want. I just wanted to stick to my older prescription, which is working fine, but she ignored me. While unemployed and paying out of pocket, it was so important to have the right prescription. They dropped the ball. Now, I have trials and when I come back, I'll be without contacts. Very inexperienced here and poor listeners. Definitely, do not go to Dr. Hostia.
