Dr. Stephen Knight, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Knight's for well over 20 years, and I have nothing but praise for both him and his staff. He has always treated me with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, and is excellent in his field. His staff Is very friendly and responsive. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Over the years I've seen him for both routine eye care, surgery, and acute problems. I can always get an appointment. I recommend him without hesitation

I have been a patient of Dr. Knight's for almost a decade, and I can't speak highly enough of his (and his staff's) proffesionalism, courtesy and friendliness. I've never had to wait for more than ten minutes or so during an appointment (and I have several exams a year), and when Dr. Knight has a moment to spare he often takes that moment to explain the intricacies of the tests he's performing and the equipment he's using - fascinating. I've recommended Dr. Knight to a family member (my sister), and I always leave his office knowing my 'baby blues' are in the best possible hands.

Very efficient practice. I walked in at 8:30 for a checkup appointment, actually saw the doctor in less than 10 minutes, and was out in about 45 minutes, including the time waiting for the pupil dilation. Dr. Knight will also answer questions and will take a few minutes to talk. They do stay busy and appointments are usually scheduled a month or more out. The only thing I wish they would do differently would be if they made appointments over email. Kinda annoying to exchange phone calls.

Dr Knight and his staff are the BEST!! Professional, quick (couldn't finish my magazine article) and best of all, thorough! I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Knight solicited questions and answered them thoroughly. He explained the tests that I was taking beforehand and told me what to expect. I can't say enough about my experience there. It was wonderful!

I had the worst experience ever visiting Dr Knight' s office. Myself and my father had to wait for two hours to finally get the service. A couple of the ladies assisting Dr. Knight kept moving us from one room to another the whole time. We had to wait in each room for at leat half an hour each time. Then we were told to wait again for another half hour outside for the doctor. The doctor was very rude, not respective, and not professional at all. He was impatient with answering questions and kept making faces when asked about the treatment. I will never recommend this doctor to no one ever.

I had an ocular emergency while traveling to Altanta on business. Ophthalmologist Dr. Knight returned my emergency message at 4 AM, waking up in the middle of the night to arrange prescription eyedrops and reassure me until my visit first thing in the morning. On arrival, his staff was waiting and ready to ease my discomfort by walking me through the paperwork and speeding me through the process. Dr. Knight was visibly interested in my well-being and took the time to conduct a comprehensive exam to rule out any major damage. This wasn't the welcome to Atlanta I expected, but I certainly felt like a team of kind people worked together to make the best of my first day in the city. I can't thank Dr. Knight enough for his emergency eye care expertise, his patience and his kindness. I have a new favorite eye doctor!

The service was standard for a new patient nothing extraordinary however the billing department service needs improvement. They had my mailing address incorrect and I never received a bill or expected a bill with a routine eye exam. I noticed I owed when I went in to reconcile my EOB for another doctor visit. I followed up with my insurance company I why my vision was charged under my medical and they told me that is how they billed the visit and would contact to get it resolved. I could never get anyone on the phone to pay and they do not accept payments electronically in 2022. They admitted to the phone system being down, billing my medical instead of vision and having the incorrect address but insisted I pay fees for their mistakes. That was my first and last visit.

Went to him when I had floaters in one eye, got me in the same day. Seamed to be a very thorough examination and was very pleased with the service I received, explained everything that I had questions on and was easy to understand.
