Walmart Vision & Glasses

It's 630pm - 30 min before closing and I've been told they are out for lunch. Then when they got back no optician to SELL me the contacts. I had my prescription, they had it in stock but were not able to sell them to me. Walmart needs to do better.

What sense does it make for us to get a text message saying our glasses is ready for pick up and to find out that the doctor is there from 11 to 3... Like I definitely have a job those I definitely work hours and then he is only there on certain days. It's no contact information for him or his other office. Walmart is just horrible, rude and have no professionalism at all

Worst experience ever. Receptionist is always rude, very smart mouth. Every one else that actually does the eye exam are really genuinely nice and respectful. I've been waiting on glasses for months now and each time I go she tells me the boxes are in her car and I should wait until she sees all the patients before she can tell me if my glasses are in or not. I've called and checked multiple times and yet they are still not there months later and now she's claiming she has to resubmit the order for my kid glasses. The receptionist is horrible with communication and I wouldnt recommend this particular vision center to anyone. It's the absolute worst. They are hardly ever in office, they constantly make mistakes and try to send you to several different locations due to not being able to keep up with organization when it comes to patients. I went to the one on memorial dr located in the Walmart and they tried to send me to college park via text message and when I called and asked questions she said that was incorrect information and had the audacity to try to get smart cause she made a mistake. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Receptionist actually told me that I shouldn't even talk to Walmart vision center because they don't know what they talking about and they are not connected together. Horrible service all around. I regret going there for me and my kid glasses. Worst decision ever!!

I would rate this place a ZERO!!!! Staff is very rude & unfriendly. I came in with a broken frame looking to purchase just the frame but they didn't want to help me since I wasn't getting a full exam. I've gotten replacement frames before from this location but today the women in there were awful. The obstetrician on duty didn't even want to touch my frames & told me it was they're policy that they couldn't do anything g since I didn't get my glasses from Walmart. I do not advise anyone to ever go here & I won't be spending another dime in that vision center. JUST AWFUL!!!

I have never been to a Walmart vision center before but I had a great first experience at this one. I decided at the last minute that I wanted to get fitted for contacts and they were able to schedule me for an appointment the same day. I was seen a little later (maybe 15 minutes) than my scheduled time but overall the appointment with the doctor was very thorough and I left with my contacts that same visit. Everyone at the receiving desk was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this vision center - can't beat the price and I like that it was right inside a Walmart so I didn't have to deal with any paid parking in downtown Decatur.

Excellent experience. Knowledgeable and professional staff. My son and I got fitted for new glasses and we were very pleased with our visit. Megan was our optician and she was great.

Horrible experience. Receptionist was exceedingly rude, entered my information wrong and was unable to find my insurance. She then shredded my paperwork while I was standing in front of the optic center on the phone with my insurance and I had to refill out all the paperwork and was put at the back of the line. 2 hours after my appointment time, I was finally seen. Will never return even though doctors weren't bad.

Not that they'll care they received a bad review cause honestly I'm sure they could care less about their customers, but I thought I'd inform potential customers: if you make an appointment, please expect to wait 1-2 hours after your set time. The officials there act as if they have no clue what they're doing & the lady at check in has a weird attitude. If this is your last resort, then go but if not, go elsewhere
