Caring, insightful, personable, and entertaining. I happen to be searching for an ideal place to get my eyes looked at. Using the website to find places within my network, this place showed up, listing what services were offered; and although this place was not the closest to me, it felt like a place worth going to. During my first visit, I was just getting over a cold, and it had affected my vision, which led to only doing a partial checkup, including a mapping of my eye. That mapping (I forgot the proper name) was not required and was an additional charge but I was alright with it, and I am very happy I did it because some stuff was noticed in the back of my eye. Anyway, I got into some good conversation with the two running the practice and the energy was there. I felt comfortable, and it did not necessarily feel like I was being rushed out the door. A couple weeks ago by, I've recovered from my sickness completely and my eyes feel better. This was in part due to some help from the doctor who recommended some steroid drops that assist with the recovery. I return, they remember me...sort of. Not a big deal -- I had only been there once, and they get so many people in and out. I waited a moment while the doctor tended to another patient, then when it was my turn the doctor remembered what was done, what needed to be done and we had a very pleasant conversation on a mutual hobby and interests. Again, I never felt rushed and the doctor really knew his stuff, provided insight on how to better care for my eyes and I never felt they were just going through the motions. His partner, holding down the rest of the fort, is a good host, and we shared stories about our ventures around the world and what our young selves indulged in during our twenties. Also an entertaining and interesting fella, who really does his best to give good recommendations on choosing glasses, never pushing the higher priced items. He has an eye for what works. It could be he's just good at selling and that's why he's so agreeable, but it clearly made the other customers happy and that's good in my (slowly debilitating) eyes. You can easily miss the spot when first looking for it. It's cozy, small space that doesn't get too crowded, and they try their best to get you in and out. I appreciate businesses like this.

I booked an appointment here a few months ago really due to positive reviews and an online scheduler. I love that I was able to make an appointment for the same week! Dr. Schultz is as nice as the others say, but the true star of the show is Mark. After going decades without glasses my time had finally come and Mark was patient and kind as I tried on glasses. There was absolutely no pressure in making a purchase and he even remembered my selection when I came back weeks later. I was so pleased with my experience that I brought my mom in for an appointment. Both Mark and Dr. Schultz were very accommodating and considerate to her and modified the tests accordingly due to her dementia. If you're looking for a new Optometrist then look no further!

I was searching for a new place to get glasses. Im used to grabbing several frames and doing several looks in the mirror to find the frame that I like. AT Uptown Eye Boutique that let you pick up frames to check out so you can look in the mirror and see how you like the frame. They offer suggestions as well if you need and opinion on how the frame fits your face. There is no pressure to purchase so you can take your time. I found a great frame for me. Thanks to Mark who helped me.

I've been a patient at this practice since moving to the area in 2022 and have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Brian and Mark! They are an incredible team and provide the highest standard of patient care possible. The office is always clean and inviting and they have all the latest updates styles of frames to choose from. They cut the glass in-office so there is no hassle in waiting on new glasses to be mailed. Dr. Brian is very thorough in his exam as well so you can trust that you'll be in great care and that nothing will go undetected. Thank you both for such amazing care!

I had a fantastic experience at Uptown Boutique with Mark and Dr. Schultz! The eye exam was thorough, and Dr. Schultz really takes his time... he's clearly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. Mark helped me find the perfect frames, and I loved that they have an in-house lab that got my lenses ready in just one hour. Uptown Eye Boutique is the absolute best! I recently got first-time progressive glasses, and Mark walked me through the process, taught me how to use them, and went above and beyond to help me adjust to 'a new way of seeing'. How lucky to have such an awesome optometrist here in Johns Creek. Highly recommend for great glasses and outstanding customer service.

Mark and Dr. Shultz are wonderful! Their customer service is excellent and they have an amazing and unique assortment of glasses. Mark was super helpful when I was trying to pick a frame and he cut my lenses right there while I waited. I will never go anywhere else for glasses/eye care. Love them!
