Wood Eye Care

My family and I have been patients of Wood Eye Care for many many years (13 years). They have provided excellent service every time! We have no complaints what so ever! We would Highly Recommend Wood Eye Care for your eye needs! Dr Johnson on Saturday Jan the 10th was especially informative & understanding. I absolutely love, love, love Wood Eye Care. I have been a patient here for a few years now and they never disappoint. Service is always top notch, and efficient! The staff is amazing and very attentive to addressing any needs or concerns I have. I highly recommend Wood Eye Care for your eye care needs!

My 1st eye exam and it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely return. Josie was great. The young lady who did my eye exam was as well but I don't recall her name. Dr Frittz was professional.

Had a great appointment and glad to meet Dr. Fritts. Had a great and positive experience with both helping me pick out my new frames. Front desk was nice and helpful.

I have been going to Wood Eye Care for a few years now. Quick check-in. Staff was very nice. Very appreciative of the thorough eye exam and detailed explanation.

Edited to add: Since posting this review Dr. Woods has messaged me multiple times to request that I remove this review. When he first messaged me he asked about my complaints and sounded like he was genuinely interested in learning about what happened to make me so unhappy. Our email conversation ended with him not addressing the issues with his staffs rude behavior and telling me that no one else has had complaints about Dr. Nguyen. Now he has messaged me several times asking me to remove my review. Even after I blocked him on my email he texted me today. I understand this is a small locally owned practice that relies on customer reviews but that doesn't mean I should delete a review of my experience with them. I will add though that other than my experience with Dr. Nguyen and one bad experience with the staff all of my other experiences with them were great. Although, that was 4 years ago. Original review with some edits for clarity: I stopped using this practice after the optometrist, Dr. Duy Nguyen, made me feel as if the double vision I was experiencing was all in my head and I needed to see a psychiatrist or therapist becausehe could not find a cause for it. During the visit there was another doctor apprenticing with Dr. Nguyen that made me feel heard and understood, she is no longer with the practice. After consulting with another practice with a different optometrist she was able to resolve the double vision. There is no way I would visit this practice again after the way I have been treated. That was approximately 2 yrs ago. Recently I called the office to get the prescription for my reading glasses. The person that answered the phone told me she would send it but I never received it. So I called back and asked for it again. This time the person that answered very rudely said over and over again that she could not send me the prescription because it was an old prescription. She never explained why that was a problem. I felt like they were gatekeeping my prescription because I was no longer a patient. I now know it is illegal for a licensed optician to fill an expired prescription. If the woman I spoke to had offered that explanation then I would have been more understanding of the situation.

I have been a patient at Wood Eye Care for around 30 years. Mike at the Lawrenceville location is so helpful with picking out glasses that fit my face. Highly recommmend!

Very impressed, scheduled an appointment, they sent reminders which was nice, went in for appointment, was greeted and everyone very nice, optometrist explained everything they were doing and the results of all the tests, would highly recommend to visit this office
