Zane Pollard, M.D.

I saw this man for the first 12 years of my life. He told my family that my vision would never allow me to function on my own. I changed doctors at 12 and that new doctor did more for in the first visit than Dr. Pollard did in 12 years. I was finally able to see!! I saw Dr. Pollard again in 2012 because my son was having tear duct surgery and he happened to also be doing a surgery that day. I really enjoyed reminding him who I was and all the things he said wouldn't happen that did and what I can do. I left him with his mouth open in shock. Wouldn't take my dead dog to Pollard. Glad he is finally retiring because it needed to happen a long time ago.

I find Dr. Pollard to be very gentle and caring. I also believe that he loves children and his field of study. We have been going to him for the past 18 years. I highly respect the work that he does. I take my son to him every year for his eye exam. He is consistent, professional, soft spoken and gentle with children. I don't need him to be my friend. I need him to treat my child and he does that quite well

We were recommended to Dr. Pollard through our pediatrician. I believe that he is a good doctor, but he doesn't have good bedside manners. He would speak to my son, but would not say hello to me. When he spoke to me about the diagnosis of my child's eyes, his back would be turned and he would be writing his notes while talking to me. He should really work on his people skills. My experience with the office staff has always been good.

We are blessed to have been associated with Dr Pollard, since 2000. He is the Top Doctor you will ever get not just in Atlanta but across the world. His Mastery over the eye has literally enabled many budding children get the perfect vision.Always with a smile ,accurate in diagnosis and treatment Dr Pollard will continue to enjoy being rated as the best by his peers in years to come.

Dr. Pollard did surgery on my young daughter to open up her blocked tear ducts. ALL of our experiences with Dr. Pollard and his staff were positive! Dr. Pollard is the expert on eyes!...both pediatric And adults with "issues". My father has Graves disease and saw Dr. Pollard for a consultation. Very positive.

Dr. Pollard is the best based on my experience. My daughter needed an eye surgery. But, he tried to correct the eyes with glasses and other means for a long time (2 years?) and did not rush to surgery. My daughter was about four at the time. When all else failed, he operated on my daughter's eyes. She is now15 and doing well. We just saw him today in a long time because my daughter's eyes hurt when she reads for extended period of time. I only trust Dr. Pollard so we went to see him. Her eyes are still good but is drifting a little to sideways instead of looking straight. He reduced the strength of her proscription glasses to correct the drifting but her eyes are otherwise in good condition. Thank you, Dr. Pollard!

Though Dr. Pollard is knowledgeable he is quite crass. If you choose to see him for his knowledge do not expect him to demonstrate tolerance, empathy, or the communicative skills to interact with you or your child. It's disappointing to meet someone so accomplished and self centered. Dr. Pollard's refusal to demonstrate appropriate pragmatics impedes his ability to treat and care for his patients. I believe he is allowed to act unprofessional due to a lack of doctors in our area with his experience. I encourage his colleagues to speak out against his unprofessional ways. We shouldn't ignore this any longer. History shows many brilliant minds did horrible things. Let's not excuse him anymore.

Dr Zane Pollard was the best. He could help my son after we waisted several years in other famous eye clinics. He made a great eye surgery for my kid and I'm happy that we could meet Dr Pollard
