America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I went in for an eye exam for glasses and contacts, and the entire experience felt off from the start. The staff at the front desk acted like I was bothering them, and the first person who helped me barely made eye contact and mumbled through questions like she was reading from a script. I had to ask her to repeat herself. Everything felt rushed and robotic. The optometrist himself was very kind and personable, but the exam was extremely quick--maybe five minutes--and I left feeling unsure if it was thorough enough. I was given sample contacts but not even offered sanitizer or a place to wash my hands before trying them on. I asked to use the restroom- hoping to wash my hands to put the contacts in but there was an out of order sign on the restroom door. When I got home and put the contacts in, I realized I could see far away but not up close at all. Had I put the contacts in at the location maybe this could have been avoided. When I called to ask about it, I was told, "Oh, you can't see close up with those contacts because you need bifocals." If that's the case, why wasn't my prescription written for bifocals? Why would I want contacts that require me to still use reading glasses? When I went back the next day with my 2 year old contact lense packaging to compare and to clarify, One employee even scolded me for not bringing in my old contact packaging sooner. I did not think it was necessary. I was expecting a full exam, not to have to tell my prescription. I was told someone would call me back the next day. No one called so I followed up a day later. The woman who answered was kind, apologetic, and understanding, and although the doctor was not in, she scheduled a follow up appointment so the doctor could recheck my eyes the following day. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to resolve. A few hours later, however, the same rude employee from before called me back, he sounded very annoyed and scolded me again - this time for making an appointment, he canceled it without asking, and told me to "just wait" for him to call me--despite the fact that he never called me back in the first place. At this point, I'm just baffled. The lack of professionalism and care is unacceptable. I'm just trying to get this resolved before I go out of town. The optometrist was pleasant and an I understand that mistakes happen, but the staff's attitude ruined the entire experience. Once I receive my contacts, I won't be returning to here.

The staff and Doctor Anthony Guerrero was phenomenal. He is cool, laid back but very informative and really cares to see that you get the best help possible. As for the staff Donna was Paramount. She helped me pick out a good pair of glasses and her customer service skills was exceptional. She really is a loving kind person by nature and I highly recommend this location for anybody who needs contact and or glasses to come to.

I have been a member of America's Best for years and have enjoyed doing business with them. My recent experience is an ongoing train wreck. The doctor there is delightful; however, the staff is the opposite. I remember when they told me how expensive my new contact lenses were going to be I thought it was high. The associate who made the transaction was Alessandra. Alessandra made a mistake. I only wear 1 contact lens on my right eye. So I purchased 1 years worth of contact lenses which is 2 boxes of 6 lenses each. I was told they did not have inventory on my lenses and they would mail my lenses to me. I found that to be agreeable. This Saturday, 11/22 my lenses were delivered and I received 4 Boxes of lenses as if I wore lenses on both eyes. This explained the high price. I called the store about the error and the woman told me to come in on Tuesday to return my extra lenses and get my refund. I said "What's wrong with Monday?" She said the manager would not be there on Monday and ONLY SHE CAN OFFER A REFUND. I was shocked that any store would not have trained staff to handle ALL kinds of transactions on any given day as it is necessary for good customer service. I waited for Today, Tuesday, and it was raining and I do not live near this location, so it was a hassle to do it. I arrived and explained I needed to return 2 boxes of lenses because I was shipped 2 boxes too many lenses. The 3 women in the store said "Do you know how to issue a refund to each other?" One of them said you have to come back when the manager is here. ONLY SHE can process refunds. I told them I waited for Tuesday because I was told the manager would be available to do a refund on Tuesday. Well she was NOT there and now I have to go back yet again to get my refund. This will not be any time soon due to my busy schedule and the Thanksgiving Holiday. So I am out a substantial amount of money until the stars align and I can get there when the manager is actually there. I will NEVER SHOP THEM AGAIN!!!

Can not say enough good things about my experience and the staff at this americas best location. Dr Guerrero, Mr George, and Ms Donna made my experience great. Thank you all so much. So excited for my glasses to arrive.

I made an appointment for 1 o'clock, I get there at 1, they whisper the doctor went to lunch. The lady goes to check and comes out and says he has an emergency can i comeback at 2. They then proceed to send me an email that says my appointment is rescheduled at 3:50 instead of 2. When i walk back inside (Mind you I had already arrived) and ask what time, the lady says 2 BUT THERE ISNT A 2:00 appointment available. Very unprofessional will never return.

Horrible Horrible staff. The Female that works there with long eagle nails is the worst. She has a nasty attitude horrible manners and rude. The Dr. is the only person worth going to see. Wish they would either retrain staff on customer service or clean house.

Jessica was amazing. She was not taking care of me but made my experience memorable throughout everyone. She went out of her way to get me out in a timely manner meanwhile a Hispanic woman at the receptionist told me "I had to wait to check out." & I felt no bending or compensation on her end, yet Jessica jumped in & was very thoughtful & efficient throughout the process. If I could tip her, I would. If you visit this location, request Jessica & I promise she will boost your experience x10. Thank you Jessica.

i've been a customer for over 10 years. I am apart of the eye care club so I get annual check ups every year. i've been to different locations and this one was the worst. I was NOT greeted at all, no type of communication. The doctor was sitting down and did not speak. he stared me up and down I turned around and still noticed him staring at me ... it made me feel so uncomfortable. I was sitting in the back for over twenty minutes while no one was in here and no updated communication. The staff was very mean and wasn't welcoming. I asked to cancel instead of asking why , the lady said " ok " .... please do not come to location. I rather drive an extra 30 mins to a location where I am welcomed.
