Stanton Optical

I recently visited Stanton Optical because they advertise a 2 pairs for $80 deal, which sounded like a great offer. However, my experience was very different when I asked for something simple -- just replacing the lenses in my existing frame. To my surprise, they quoted me $350-$400 just to change the lenses, which felt extremely overpriced compared to the promotion they advertise. It was confusing and honestly disappointing because the advertised deal makes it seem like eyewear there is very affordable. The staff were polite, but the pricing felt misleading and inconsistent. If two complete glasses can cost $80, charging $350+ for lenses in an old frame doesn't make much sense. I recommend customers ask for full pricing details upfront before deciding. What looks like a good deal in advertising may end up costing much more depending on what you actually need.

Updated review: 02/25/2026 Clark (General manager) and his associates are single-handedly saving Stanton Optical from competing businesses. The GM went above and beyond to rectify my experience and reschedule my eye appointment in alignement with the company's promotional deals on lens so that I could not only save on my eye exam as originally intended but also save on my eyewear I was looking forward to purchasing. Thankfully they have him and his staff in store to correct what was not their original intention. I'm actually so pleased with how this issue was resolved --down to the timely attention to this matter, sincere regret and pleasantry I was met with in store despite my unfavorable review-- that I plan to only do business with this location in the future. Thank you again! 02/24/2026 I would not visit any Stanton Optical companies in the future. Corporate ruined so many franchises by making everything separate. I was able to make an appointment for 6:15 pm (last available appointment being 6:30) to only arrive and be told that they could not take me because the eye exam department was closed at 6 pm. The store closes at 7 pm. There's no where on the website that says that or even blocks patrons from booking the appointment. And prior to this I booked an appointment at the Howell mill location that was unable to honor my free contact lens exam because I signed up at a corporate location which you can guess is also not advertised or disclosed that the free eye exams aren't transferable to other locations. It's not like the locations have corporate under their sign or posted on their door. Such a waste of time and resources. You can literally go anywhere else but this company and have a way better experience. Disappointed I could not give 0 stars.

Amazing customer service easy to book great value for the money. They also have nice sunglasses highly recommend. If you're looking to get your eyes, checked and get some new glasses for Erick the manager he'll take good care of you.

The atmosphere here is amazing they got me in an out, Anna was so helpful an kind as well as the other staff members . I came for the 2 for $79 pair of glasses deal an they we actually $79 no extra fees. Definitely recommend this location you wont be disappointed

Excellent experience at Stanton Optical in Smyrna GA. My vision is perfect, they were incredibly thorough and professional. WAY better experience than another provider in town. 5 stars hands down!

What great experiences I've had at this location! The time, energies, and effort that have been shown to me as a customer needing help with her vision, has been extraordinary. Such a pleasant quick and painless experience coming to the Smyrna location. Julian has been incredibly helpful,patient and always answers my questions/concerns. He and Clark both have shown outstanding customer service to me as well as the other individuals I've seen them help in the store.Be proud of this team and the leadership that they show every person that comes into the store.
