I absolutely recommend Sure Vision in Alton. They are super knowledgeable, professional and personable. Zach took his time with me to explain each procedure that was being performed and to make sure I was comfortable during the tests. To me that speaks volumes. Stephanie was also amazing, she took time to fix my glasses which she didn't even have to do. She did it out of kindness. I highly recommend Dr Weiss as well, super knowledgeable and pleasant to meet with. I definitely recommend this office.

For year's I have had dry eye syndrome. I have gone to numerous ophthalmologist who professed that they are specialist with dry eye syndrome. Today I found the true genuine, dry eye specialist, Dr.Bourn. Dr. Bourne understands dry eye symptoms and the possible causes of this symptom.
I left the office in tears, knowing that there is someone that truly cares about the Patient. The staff at shore vision includes Keegan and Michelle who are an integral part of this company.
I have found my forever physician. Dr. Bourne is a lifesaver.

I was having eye trouble and saw my eye doctor in Chicago. She said the trouble was due to cataracts and we scheduled surgery. A friend convinced me to get a second opinion with her doctor, Larry Gans. I have never been so pleased with the level of professionalism of the whole office. I've never had such a thorough examination and been given so many details about the health of my eyes. Turns out I don't need surgery for awhile and we'll keep an eye on the progression of the cataract. My eye trouble turned out to be more of an issue with allergies and the development of dry eyes as I've aged than the cataract slowly forming in my eye. Dr. Gans, Michele his tech, and his whole staff are the best.

Dr Bourne was amazing...although I had 3 appointments with complete (asI considered) establishing my new Prescription. But I will be charged an additional $ 40 fee to receive the Prescription to obtain needed glasses due to prescription changes because they do not take my eye insurance.. never really had this occur ...Ever...and I have had glasses for over 50 years!!!

They used to be wonderful when they were in florissant mo. Now they are horrible since moving and got too big. During the move they lost both my eyeglasses and contacts order from my father and I. That was after they FORGOT to order them! You cannot call them anymore because they have an automated system with only voice mail. I find this unreasonable and poor customer service. The voice mail system even tells you they will get back to you after 24-48 hours?! That is unreasonable! Now I am having a hard time getting through to anyone to transfer records to a new eye doctor! The last time I spoke with someone at desk over the phone they were pretty rude, would not let me speak to my doctor or pass along any messages. But yet, the doctors let you know you can contact them. How? This needs zero stars, one is way too generous.

Dr. Weiss was absolutely amazing! My husband came in with a scratched eye from our son on an emergency appointment and she was so fast and friendly. She was sure to follow up with him as well. We will 100% be back. Stephanie at the front desk was also one of the nicest receptionists we have ever met. She made us want to come back just to visit! Thanks so much to everyone!
