I visited his office in Libertyville with reservation, but surprisingly no show. Next day is available for new customer but waited over 1 hour 10 min to see him just for 2 minutes talk and no apology till I asked why. Staff and assistant in training made me nervous and unpleasant. How come he earned advertised high level reputation ? Did I get just bad luck? I don't believe that. First and foremost: Dr. M. Blair is awesome! I came into the emergency with a rather large hole in my eye, resulting from an accident. I thought life as I knew it was over. After opening his office in Skokie on a Sun(he did the surgery on the night before) just to check how I'm doing, I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. I had a vitrectomy surgery done by him and have been seeing him in Des Plaines since then. His staff is extremely friendly, appointments are on time and he's expertise doesn't fail to impress me. Everything I ask him, he gives me an answer I can understand. It's been a couple traumatic months but my vision is improving. So yeah, thanks to Dr. B, whom I feel like, saved my vision, my livelihood and quite possibly my life. Thanks, doc and staff! ...From the guy with a spike in the eye and his wife. My baby has been seeing Dr Blair for 8 years since he saved her eyesight. I travel an hour and a half out to see him and wouldn't have it any other way. He is precise, loving and caring. I've had no problem reaching him during emergencies either. I love the entire staff. Thanks to all and keep up the excellent work.

My father has had the best care of any surgeon he has ever needed. The level of professionalism is top notch and Dr. Blair has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Blair and look forward to bringing my mom to see him also. Did I mention he also speaks some Spanish which made my dads day.

Dr. Blair work Is outstanding. He did surgery on my 13 yr old son eyes back in January. From the very first time I met when him I felt my baby would in great hands. He was very detail about my son surgery , the process, and recovery. I would recommend Dr. Blair to anyone, he's absolutely amazing.

Dr Blair is an extremely caring Dr. He treats you with empathy toward any fears or concerns you may have. He takes the time to get to know his patients and discusses with you the best options for your particular condition. He listens and encourages his patients to be active in their overall health care.

Mr. Blair is a very professional dr. He is referred by one of my favorite child dr. Her name is dr. hyder in riley children hospital in Indianapolis. Dr.blair is very keen to help you and his patients. He is not a talkative person. But answer all the questions what is in your mind. Me and my family are very thankful his skill that he take care my son surgery on time. May Allah reward him a true and honest path.

I'm a patient of Dr. Blair he is a kind and gentle soul. I thank God everyday that he sent me to him. I had three retina surgeries the first two I was in so much pain. Thank God that Dr. that I had was moving somewhere else. I couldn't wait to run away from her.
