Dr. Saira Khanna is one of the few doctors I have met who actually empathize with their patients instead of just making a show of sympathy which most doctors do. She gets and deserves full points for that and also being an equally effective doctor and diagnosing patients correctly and planning and providing a clear course of action and following through with it. Answers all your questions and more and having a very pleasant and positive attitude just tops it all. She has a very strong career ahead of her and I strongly recommend and endorse her and urge you to book an appointment with her and find out for yourself.

Leaving a bad review is something no one likes to do, but to protect others and hold providers accountable, it is necessary. I was a patient of this clinic, and had been diagnosed with 2 retinal tears in my right eye last year, February 2025. I was seen by two doctors with Retina Consultants, who both failed to monitor and treat my tears, leading to a Retinal detachment/macula off. After experiencing such negligence, I lost trust and confidence and opted to find another Provider to do my surgery. One year post-surgery ,I have a vision impairment, which could have been prevented had the tears been treated . Please be extra cautious when seeking medical care.

I came in concerned about a possible retinal detachment, and I have to say, Dr. Oz was absolutely phenomenal!!!! As someone who knows the difference between routine care and exceptional medical attention, I was truly impressed. He took his time, conducted a thorough examination, and explained everything to me with clarity and patience. He is a rare gem in the field, and I hope his dedication never goes unrecognized. I was honestly surprised to read some reviews criticizing the length of the exam. This is not a quick stop like a retail vision center this is a medical practice where doctors are focused on protecting and preserving the health of your eyes. These appointments require care, time, and precision. To those complaining: please remember that your vision is worth more than a rushed 20-minute visit. I'm deeply grateful for the expertise and commitment of the entire team here. Thank you for the care you provide it does not go unnoticed.

I had multiple exams from several people in the office. Even though I repeatedly told them I had hearing problems, they had great difficulty in remembering to speak clearly so I missed a lot of what was said. At the end I saw the doctor for three or four minutes. She told me the diagnosis and gave me a piece of paper to take home, When I got in my car I realized that I could barely see. My eyes had been dilated and no one thought to give me dark glasses to help me see my way home. Surely there could have been better care than what I received. I will not return.

With Dr. Garcia gone, the practice is awful. The new doctor spends NO time with patients, cannot be bothered to spend more than 5 minutes with you. A specialist should not be rushing through patients, especially when brand new to the practice. I am no longer confident in the motivation or that they even care about helping people. Do yourself a favor and find a practice that wants to help people, not see as many people as possible for more money.

I've been a patient of Retina Consultants for more than 4 years now and I'm shocked by all those bad reviews.They look like some kind of personal issues of a former employees that should be addressed in the office & not posted on line. That damages reputation of this wonderful place that provides exceptional eye care for decades. Starting from experienced & kind physicians professional technicians & very helpful friendly front desk. Even billing department is a pleasure always treating patients with dignity regardless of your insurance or financial situation. On line reviews play a vital role when choosing medical care & found this place on line in 2020 when I had a serious eye emergency. I choose it because it had 5 star rating. Dr Garcia Gonzales was able to see me immediately it was SAT btw) & he saved my eyesight.. He then was patiently working on my retina with laser treatments for months sometimes on a weekly basis to improve my vision. I'm so gratefull to this wonderful, kind doctor.On ocassion when I could not see Dr Garcia other doctors would take care of me, Dr Shapiro & Dr Blair who were equally excellent & kind. I was really lucky to find this place. So to all of you bad reviewers think twice before you post a reckless opinion. Not only you damaging a good name & years of hard work but also jeopardize lives of potential patients who otherwise would choose a perfect medical care. I do hope Google does investigate those reviews and Retina Consultants can take a legal actions. Posting reckless misleading statements on line is illegal.

I cannot believe all of the 1 star reviews are being reported as fraud by management and they are just allowed to remove the review. I have taken my mom here more than 10x and every single time it takes at least 2 hrs for her to be seen. This is very ridiculous patient care and management. These appointments should only be 20mins or so. I've taken her to other eye surgeon appointments and none have ever taken this long to see her. 2-3 hrs for an eye appointment is ridiculous!! No one should wait that long to be seen by any professional. Horrible time management and scheduling.

I never leave negative reviews, but this time I had to do it. I was beyond shocked at the horrible treatment I received, particularly by one staff member named Sofia. As a potential customer, I do not expect rudeness or a condescending tone from a staff member. Sofia completely lacks any concept of ethical and proper communication, and I need this to be known by those considering Retina. Perhaps it would be beneficial to find a replacement for her before you lose more business.
