Dr. Winkler is amazing! I live in Chicago and needed ptosis surgery. I went for a few consults with ocular plastic surgeons who wanted to add 10K in cosmetic surgeries. Dr. Winkler was different. He was honest, experienced, and didn't have that cringy surgery coordinator trying to upsell you on cosmetic surgeries. Dr. Winkler did an amazing job with under the lid dissolvable stitches which allowed for no scars and a speedy recovery. Most importantly my eye lids are perfectly lifted. I can see better and look better! I highly recommend Dr. Winkler!!

After years of having Thyroid Eye Disease, I went to see Dr. Winkler at the request of my cataract surgeon. Dr. Winkler explained it all to me and the signs to watch out for. I had the blood test and the ct scan and returned for my follow-up. All was normal within the TED diagnosis and no treatment necessary. Dr. Winkler and his staff explained everything to me and were very kind. No one wants to see a specialist as it just means something else is wrong. Dr. Winkler assured me that all was well and not to worry.

Dr. Winkler has excellent bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He personally followed up with us the next day to review the treatment plan in detail -- something you rarely see these days. Highly recommend!
