I went to Midwestern University Eye Institute for an urgent deteriorating vision problem. I was met with the most professional, friendly, and caring individuals I have ever experienced.
Michael Ragheb was my optometry student and he went above and beyond for answering questions, administering tests, and putting care in his work.
Dr. Jenny Geevarghese was an absolutely amazing doctor. She was kind, thorough, caring, and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend Dr. Jenny Geevarghese, and Michael Ragheb for anyone looking for exceptional care.
Sincerely,
Paul M
I was able to find Midwestern Eye Institute from a simple Google search. They were able to perform thorough test and diagnose my condition. I was diagnosed with Keroconus and provided with a solution. I am genuinely grateful and amazed at how well I can see now. From Dr. Deligio, to Dr. Conroy and the amazing students, Miranda & Nick to the front desk staff. Everyone was amazing
Unfortunately, my experience with scheduling has been consistently frustrating due to the front desk staff member who has been rude and condescending when I've tried to make or reschedule appointments, even when cancellations were made with proper notice. I have never cancelled an appointment the day of or even the day before. I was also given incorrect information about my appointment history and criticized for not understanding how the retina clinic works, despite this being my first visit there (I'd previously only been to the regular eye clinic). The clinical care has been excellent, but the front desk interactions have made the overall experience disappointing and will likely be taking my care elsewhere in the future. I am a student at Midwestern, and I know how much the University emphasizes professionalism for students in clinical settings and wished they would uphold the same values for their staff.
Have to brag about a student who my daughter enjoyed having. She really connected with my daughter during her vision therapy and they connected with both enjoying stitch. Yesterday was our last session for this time and Sarah sitto caught us as we were leaving and said she had something she got my daughter a stitch search and find book! This is what makes my daughter know someone is willing to listen and help her! Thank you again we will see you again in passing!
I wrote a long post but it did not let me post it. Drs Conrad & Nadaraja and their student teams are fantastic.
Their optical clinic has a HUGE selection of frames and the prices are way better than I paid at my last two chain clinics. There were two working that day and they both greeted me as soon as I walked into their optical even though they were both already with customers. That means a lot to me!
The eye clinic team all take their time, listen to you, give you treatment options, and make you feel valued. I am a Nurse Practitioner & will say that I never had such wonderful treatment from previous eye clinics. And I have been seeing eye Drs for 47 yrs!
I hadn't been to the eye doctor since 1st grade, and now at 22 I finally decided it was time. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect after all these years, but my experience completely exceeded my expectations. Michael, the student who did my entire exam, was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment he started, he explained everything so clearly and made sure I understood each step of the process. He was patient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable I could tell he really cared about making the experience a positive one.
What impressed me most was how comfortable he made me feel. It can be a little intimidating going in after so long, but Michael went above and beyond to make it easy and stress free. I walked out not only with a better understanding of my vision but also feeling confident in the care I received.
If you haven't been to the eye doctor in a while or are nervous about going, I can't recommend this place enough. Michael truly set the bar high for what a great eye exam should feel like.
My student Gavin Olsen was an amazing young young man....great patient skills,, kind and listens. His knowledge and care during my exams was very good and I appreciated his care. Thank you!
