I recommend highly. Very professional and personal. Place is very clean with a good selection of frames. I was there for hard contacts and the exam process was easy. The machines they use are state of art. When I got my contacts they fit perfectly! Highest kiddos to all the staff!

Drs' Alice and Tom Unger are so great. They are very friendly and pleasant. They don't rush you in appointments. And are very thorough, and explaine everything. I had an emergency and Dr Alice met me at her office and treated me right away. In 40 years i have never had or heard of any doctor doing that. Thank you Dr Alice and Dr Tom for putting patients first.

I've been a patient for 20+ years. I highly recommend Unger Eyecare. They are the best around for eye care and are great with emergency appointments due to injuries. That being said, it seems the Edwardsville location doesn't have all the equipment the Troy location has. I had my appointment today in Edwardsville; but, I had to make another appointment to get a test in Troy that Edwardsville couldn't do. This was my first time at the Edwardsville location. They were still superior in knowledge and skill. I just think I'll stick to the Troy location in the future, to avoid the inconvenience of multiple testing appointments.

I've been going to Unger eye wellness for a couple of years now. They do an excellent and thorough job of checking out all the aspects of your eyes. They always greet you when you come in. Today I went for my first dry eye treatment with Taylor. She does a great job of explaining exactly what she's going to do and when. She made me feel very comfortable and all went great for the first treatment. I'm so glad I found them.

They claim to provide vision therapy to children and adults; however, in my experience, if you come here as an adult, they will treat you as if you were a child that is a struggling reader rather than an intelligent, well-educated adult.
