Highly recommended. Really excellent optometrist who easily succeeded in finding an excellent prescription for me where two other optometrists from other offices failed. She also provided me very precise, holistic advice to help me preserve my eyesight as I get older. The eyeglass service was very friendly and attentive. The selection of glasses was excellent and I quickly found a pair that suited my preferences and budget. They accept most insurances and are located on Main Street in Evanston.

I am a longtime customer and love the variety of designer frames. I splurge on what goes on my face everyday instead of brand name shoes, and I have never been steered wrong here. I have had Silhouettes for ages and often just replace the lenses, which Evanston Eyecare has helped with many times. Convenience to lovely eateries, the lake, and vintage shops is a bonus!

Paulina is a pleasure to work with at Evanston Eyecare. She's very easy to talk with and deeply understands very comprehensive lens prescriptions and specifications. I was looking for a new eye doctor having just moved to the area and came across Evanston Eyecare. Went in for an eye check up, new glasses, and more contacts and the team was phenomenal.
My appointment with Dr.Shapiro was great and they had a wonderful selection of glasses to choose from. Polina was also amazing! She was so patient as we walked through benefit coverage from my insurance.

I'm 64 years old. Went for an eye exam and new prescription. I had a 3:00 appointment. Paulina was very short and abrupt with me. Told me the good news is they're open. Bad news is I have to wait. Got in to see the doctor at 5:00. Last appointment of the day. Told the doctor the issues I was having. He didn't do any exam. No puff of air for glaucoma. No pictures. He just went right into the prescription exam. Told me the prescription wouldn't be perfect and I would need to come back and see him in a year. Rushed through the exam. Got done and Paulina told me I had to come back Monday for lenses because she couldn't stay, in a very abrupt and rude way. I didn't go back. Went to For Eyes Only at 635 Chicago Ave. Had a great doctor. Dr. Aziz Khan. Told him my experience. He took pictures and then spent a good deal of time with me looking at the pictures. Turns out I have cataracts. A common and very easy to detect condition. I highly recommend For Eyes Only at 635 Chicago Ave Evanston. I highly recommend against Evanston Eyecare at 504 Main St, Evanston
