Woosuk Yoon

On 5/6/25 twice requested new patient paperwork be emailed to me for completion prior to my 5/7/25 appointment. Did not receive the first time so called and spoke to a gentleman - gave him the email address and did not receive the forms. I called back to check and he said they had sent it twice and got and "error" message so I could just complete the paperwork the next day at my appointment. I noted I did not want to do that and asked if he could check the email address. He sarcastically said "we sent it twice" and it took 3 times to ask in order to get it repeated. The email was incorrect - the "s" was left off Roberts. The young man said he would resend it and it NEVER was resent and never received. I drove to the office to pick-up the paperwork and told the young man I didn't appreciate getting attitude for something that wasn't my error. The proper thing that should have happened after the second email didn't go through was for the office to call and let me know of the error and they should have asked to recheck the email address. The front office staff, of all places, should be patient-focused and there to assist the patient and should definitely carry through when they are asked for assistance.

I would not recommend the services of Dr. Yoon. My husband just had cataract surgery by him. While the surgery was being performed, my husband was screaming in pain. Dr. Yoon did not stop the surgery or give more pain medications. We had to meet the Dr in his office 2 hrs later, and Dr. came in with an attitude from haites. He demanded an apology from my husband, accusing him of not complying with directions while under anesthia and having very small eye sockets. My husband , who is also deaf in one ear, had a tough time hearing the Dr give directions to him as to where to move his eye, which by now was quite swollen and really couldn't even open his eye. I tried asking questions and was summarily and rudely dismissed, like I was some idiot with one brain cell working. I personally would not recommend this, Dr. He should go back to being an engineer. Our experience is that he is very rude, cold,and egotistical.

Was referred to Dr Yoon by optometrist. Dr Yoon came in to exam room and first thing he said was "oh you have a thyroid problem" No hello I'm Dr Yoon. He was condescending and arrogant. The final person I saw was to schedule appointment for cataract surgery. My insurance will only pay to remove cataract. This place is all about how much money a person will spend (per eye) to get 20/20 vision which of coarse I would love to have! I don't want a doctor who is still mentally in high school with his click of young female cronies. It was a very cold and sterile environment. It really shocked me that a doctor would treat a patient that way. Not very professional!
