My sister moved here from the state of Maine in 2001. Dr. Brody did cataract surgery on her. She couldn't even see with her glasses before the surgery. Couldn't tell if the sky was blue or Gray. She had surgery with Dr. Brody. When they were totally done with her she came out of the office after the second surgery with the other eye looked at the sky and you should have heard her she was so amazed the day was beautiful the sky was beautiful blue she looked at the flowers and the sky and she was so happy she didn't even need her glasses she could see to read she was very happy with Dr. Brody and so was I

Dr. Brody is awesome. She's a thorough perfectionist and an excellent surgeon. And very adept with handling terrified patients like me. She even found cataract glasses to fit my tiny head. Really appreciate the staff at McDonough Eye. Thank you Dr. Brody and McDonough Eye.

DR. Brody has been my ophthalmologist for many years. I've had some difficult times with my eyes and she's always been up to the task of trying to figure out what the problem or problems were and treating them. She's also said that it was time for me to head to Iowa City when my problems were beyond her scope of care. She has then worked with their recommendations to treat my diagnosis. She's a very kind person who also has no problem being very forthright in her thoughts when necessary. She's a very dedicated doctor who does her very BEST to make sure that I'm getting the highest level of care possible. She also has a wonderful staff who goes out of their way to make sure that my needs are met. Example, coming down to my car, in the cold, to do tests that Dr. Brody wanted done! You won't go wrong choosing Dr. Brody!
