Complete Vision Care

I had a wonderful experience at Complete Vision Care! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and well-cared for. A special shout-out to Rudy, the nurse. He was incredibly nice and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout the preliminary testing. I haven't been to the eye doctor in over 10 years because I disliked it so much. His friendly attitude really helped put me at ease. Dr. Salem was also fantastic. Very professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. It's rare to find a team that is both this efficient and this genuinely kind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch eye care! P.S if you have minnocular vision , meaning you can only see out of one eye they can do all the special tests that you need to get DOT certified. Which is apparently hard to find in illinois.

The doctor took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me in a way that felt clear and reassuring. I never felt rushed, just genuinely cared for. On top of that , their selection of glasses is fantastic, stylish, and high quality. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish.

What an outstanding practice. Dr. Salem went above and beyond with his exam and explained everything along the way. I learned so many new things that no doctor ever explained to me before. The glasses selection was amazing and everyone was super professional. I will be recommending to all my family and friends. 5 stars

had a very disappointing experience here. I scheduled my eye exam a month in advance and gave them all my insurance information over the phone. They confirmed that my insurance covered the entire exam in full. When I arrived, they suddenly told me there was an additional $39 charge for "retinal photos," even though the exam itself was supposed to be covered. They made it sound like this charge was part of the exam and never explained that it was optional. Only after I questioned it did they admit it wasn't covered by insurance. This kind of upselling without being transparent feels very misleading. If something is optional and not required for the exam, it should be clearly stated upfront before the appointment -- not added as a surprise fee when you arrive. I ended up canceling the appointment because I didn't appreciate the lack of honesty and communication. Patients deserve full transparency, especially when it comes to billing. I won't be returning.

This place is very unprofessional. First time going and last time. Glasses came back broken and the lack of communication is like 3rd graders communication. Never receive my original glasses because the lady's I dealt with were more made at me and the my glasses that I paid cash money for was broken when I went to pick them up. Overall my experience there was trash. When they say promote black own business I'm totally for that but the service i received from this place i can see why we as African Americans never can do right by their own kind. I will never go here for glasses again

I honestly had such a great experience with Dr. Salem. He was super patient and never made me feel rushed at all. He took the time to walk me through everything during my eye exam and made sure all my questions were answered -- even the small ones! You can tell he really cares and wants his patients to feel comfortable and informed. It made the whole appointment feel easy and stress-free. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone who truly takes their time with you.
