I love the friendliness of this staff. I've been coming here for many years. Dave is my doctor, I've heard they all are great. Nice selection of frames for kids & adults. I even caught Dave putting up new displays in between appointments. Call ahead for insurance questions, free parking in front & a back lot. Handicap use the front door.

Dr. Ludford is a excellent and professional eye doctor, but unfortunately his front desk staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. I was patient for about 10 years and at my last eye appointment to renew my contact lens perscpition the exam went well and professional, but when it came to the front desk afterwards the front desk staff was very rude and unprofessional. I had new insurance and they took my card and scan it and I asked them prior to the appointment about insurance and they said they said that it would be no problem. After my appointment was done the lady at the front desk rudely said "we don't take United Healthcare, sir we are not in network sir" and I said back "you all told me that there would be no issues". She continued to lie about not being in network with my insurance because I check with my insurance and they actually are in network. She said "sir I take contact lens off then" I said in response "no I need my contact lens" she go very red face and screamed out "fine sir but your paying full price for everything that was done today and we are not submitting nothing to your insurance because we can't". I ended up paying $340 at the end of it all and also cut ties with the office. I do not tolerate disrespect or rudeness by anyone in a business or personal setting and due to this experience I will not do anymore of my business at this eye doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rooney for (gulp) over 45 years. I couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism that he and the staff at Eye Care Professionals gives. The staff that helps me pick out and get fitted for new specs are truly outstanding. They really care how happy I am with what I select to wear. It's generally not a big deal to me, (as they say, I don't have to look at them, just through them), but they help me make a good choice make me feel good about it. And they're always there to help on follow up adjustments. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. :)

I'm not a local and was in a spot where an eye exam was needed. I was able to get in next day (won the lottery) and was very impressed at the level of care and niceness of the whole entire staff. I was also pleased with the cost of my new glasses after insurance. Highly recommend!

I've worn glasses since the age of five. As it has become routine to get eye exams and new glasses, the fine folks at Eye Care Professionals in Peru, Illinois have always made this an enjoyable experience. Both the physicians and the staff are the most pleasant and helpful in caring for the health of my eyes and purchasing corrective lenses. Thank you all for years of help and support.

Eye Care Professionals is great. They worked me in on a Friday afternoon when I had a bad eye infection and took the time to thoroughly examine and take care of the problem. I have also had to recently bring my wife and young daughter in on separate occasions for other emergency eye issues, one of which was after-hours, and they simply took care of us. I highly recommend Eye Care Professionals to anyone looking for a reliable and professional group of doctors who always put their patients first.

Have been a patient for many years. I would highly recommend Eye Care Professionals. My experience(s) have been excellent over the years. Very friendly staff and Doctor. Everyone I have dealt with has been extremely knowledgeable. Appointment times are made completely compatible with your schedule and the waiting times are nearly non-existent. In fact I am almost always taken in before my scheduled time. Have recommended to friends and they have become patients also.

I have been using Eye Care Professionals since my son was prescribed glasses at just 18 months old (he's 16 now). The staff here (especially Tina) go above and beyond to make sure you get a good fit, and a great look. When my son was tiny, Tina spent a lot of time helping me to find glasses that were narrow enough across the bridge of his nose to not look "funny". I am forever grateful for the time she spent poring over catalogs to find a pair of glasses with a smaller bridge. We have only used a different place for glasses 2 x in the 15+ years he's been wearing glasses, and that was years ago, and we always came back here because of the professionalism and dedication of the staff. I will always use Eye Care Professionals.
