Everyone is polite and made the experience feel welcoming. The doctor knows who I am and was very interested in all I needed to say. The doctor explained everything explicitly. She was wondering. The staff was friendly and explained everything clearly. I didn't feel any pressure of buying. This is why I coming back next week to get a new pair of glasses!

I had a very mixed experience at the Old Orchard LensCrafters. The doctor was genuinely kind, patient, and thorough during my exam -- no complaints there. However, the moment I moved on to selecting my glasses, everything went downhill.
The associate who assisted me was not helpful at all. She didn't provide any guidance, didn't offer quotes for the frames I picked, and overall made the process frustrating and uncomfortable. There was zero effort to explain options or help me make an informed decision. Because of that, I left without the clarity or support you would expect from a place like LensCrafters.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Old Orchard location. Terrible customer service on the retail side completely overshadowed what could have been a great visit.

The eye exam was exceptional. I had planned to also get glasses in addition to new contacts. However, I would pick out a frame, get a quoted prices, and then was told it would not work with my prescription or was a much higher price than I was originally quoted. After multiple rounds of the hit and miss process, and no guidance from the staff assisting me, I left with just contacts and pretty frustrated.

I picked out lower cost frames (2) because I will not spend money just for a designer's name. There was no pressure to upgrade. The same can be said for the lens I bought. I knew what additions I wanted and there was no pressure to add those I didn't want.

My visit went well, actually! Was surprisingly fast and helpful! Dr Jacobson is fantastic and very knowledgeable! Staff was pleasant but a bit preoccupied with paperwork/other work that day. Maybe they were training or something?? But overall, everyone was pleasant and helpful.
I just wish they offered really cheap glass frames/glasses! But you do get steep discounts from AAA. I definitely recommend this Lenscrafters!
