I came here first thing in the morning and I was greeted by two people who were very kind and understanding! I asked them if they could repair my glasses, I had 2 pairs, and the screws fell off.. The representative who repaired them was Micheal! He handled the glasses with utmost care and the glasses felt brand new afterwards. I was surprised to hear it was free which I'm not complaining!! I'm glad!! I'll be coming here more often!
If you guys ever have the screws fall off your glasses, visit LensCrafters!

Both, in the past and today, I have had positive experiences at this LensCrafters location.
Today, I needed to get my glasses adjusted. I went in without an appointment, so I had to wait about 10 minutes or so, which wasn't bad for a Sunday.
The associate who helped me today was Selena. Selena was incredibly helpful. She was able to adjust my glasses quickly and effectively. I was very impressed with her assistance. I'm grateful for the excellent assistance and communication that I've had with the LensCrafters associates and managers.

I just stepped in the LensCrafters at Old Orchard in Skokie, Illinois because I was missing a screw from my sunglasses. DeBarge was quick to the rescue. He repaired my sunglasses in just a couple of minutes, clean them up, and handed them back. Great service! Highly recommend!

The service at LensCrafters Old Orchard is outstanding! I've been coming here since 2015, and every visit has been excellent -- the staff is always professional, patient, and focused on making sure you get the best fit and experience possible.
On my most recent visit, I worked with Sandra, who was absolutely wonderful -- honest, kind, and very knowledgeable. I needed to replace the lenses in three pairs of glasses, and she was upfront about the costs and even suggested I check if my insurance would cover them elsewhere. That level of honesty and customer care is rare and says so much about their integrity.
Highly recommend LensCrafters Old Orchard for anyone looking for top-notch service and people who truly care about their customers!

Michael has helped me and my family on at least three occasions in the past year. On each occasion, he has provided consummate customer service. He is attentive, patient, helpful, detail-oriented, and he has a wonderful sense of style. In our last visit, we had the good fortune of Michael introducing us to Omar, who also seems quite skilled in customer service (as do the other team members there who we have not yet had a chance to work with). Michael kept tabs on how our visit was going, even while dutifully attending to other customers who had arrived prior to us. In other words, even when he could not personally work with us, Michael ensured a productive and satisfying experience. Encourage you to visit LensCrafters for any eyewear needs and have the pleasure of working with these fantastic team members!

If you're going to still give LensCrafters a chance, go to the one in Macy's. I saw all the one star reviews and still gave them a chance, only to be thoroughly disappointed. After 5 phone calls, 5 messages left, from 2 different phones, we were advised by the LensCrafters at Macy's that we'd have a better chance to just show up at the store rather than waiting for a call back that would never happen. The manager was polite but it was clear she didn't care; just insisted they called us once (we could find no record of this call on our phone records) and told us their voicemail had been down for 2 weeks. Never heard of a voicemail system being down for 2 weeks. When we asked politely why they do not answer their phones, she told us they were too busy, as we sat in her empty store at 6pm that was scheduled to close at 8pm.
Take your hard earned money somewhere else. This location at Old Orchard mall is disappointing.

Why in the world does it take over a week to get some glasses? You pay $1,200 And waiting 10 business days is acceptable? They never took this long but their service has really gone into the toilet. Also they don't have tracking numbers so they cannot even check where in shipping your glasses are. This is 2026, and shipping tracking is the most basic logistics solved, how are they so far behind with such a basic service?
