Target Optical

Wow! Really impressed with my experience at the Target optical location in St. Charles. I was not expecting it at all, but it may have been the one of the best experiences I've had at an optometrist. It was ALL about the service! Lu was so helpful, patient (I tried on so many different frames and took pics of myself with top options), and incredibly knowledgeable about each manufacturer. I was looking for a particular color frame, and with each option I tried on that wasn't the color I wanted, Lu checked to see if they carried it in other colors for me! She also gave me her honest opinion about which frames she liked for my face shape, and found the one I ended up choosing! She walked me through pricing options and made sure I knew the reason for choosing various lens features without making me feel pressured to add them, but instead educating me on the benefits they might add. I really didn't expect to get the kind of customer service as I did. Again, really impressed. Dr. Williams was also amazing. Her exam was quick, but thorough. She explained the reason for a change in my prescription, and was so kind to answer my questions and make sure I understood. I would absolutely recommend getting an eye exam here! The experience exceeded my expectations...and these days, that doesn't happen often. Great employees make all the difference!! Thanks guys!

Lou was very knowledgeable and helpful. She found discounts from my insurer that I didn't catch and walked me through the entire process over the phone. I taught Interpersonal Communication classes for years, and Lou has an outstanding, upbeat personality that puts customers at ease and builds trust. If she's not already, she'd succeed in management, as well.

Dr Williams is so easy to talk to, she listens and cares for her patients. We never feel rushed with her. Bill is very personable and will give you advice on frames, best fit for your face, and honest opinions. He goes above and beyond to help find what's right for you! It's always a pleasant experience here.

I am so sad to have to post a bad review. Dr. Williams is wonderful. Unfortunately, a staff member Lou was very rude to me. I had questions about my prescription and just wanted clarification. She seemed annoyed by my questions and unkind.

100% grateful and satisfied with Sophia (Sofia) help in fixing my glasses. I sat on them not too long ago and bent the temples of my glasses. Stoped by Target Optical and aligned them perfectly!
