What an amazing, customer focused experience my daughter and I had today with this location! Jeffrey Greenfield, OD was patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough and the entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful too. Thank you MyEyeDr. team!!
I ordered glasses at this location as a first-time customer but I was unfamiliar with the options presented to me. After I received the glasses, I realized it would have been useful to have antiglare added because I was seeing reflections on the lenses from indoor lighting. However, I was told that this was impossible and that there was nothing else I could do to improve my experience with the glasses because no refunds or remakes were allowed with my Medicaid managed health plan. (Antiglare was listed as one of several add-on options while ordering, but I was given very little information on it. I do not blame the associate helping me that day because he was in training, but there seemed to be little direction from management.)
The worst part of my experience is that I was not informed *before* placing my order that my plan would not accept any refunds or remakes. Eyeglasses are not the biggest purchase you'll ever make, but they are for your health. It's an essential part of good customer service to inform the patient *before* purchasing if they will not be allowed any refunds or remakes. In every other case, refunds or remakes *are* allowed. I was disappointed that the manager here (Nancy) did not accept any responsibility for my experience and basically implied that the order was my own fault, despite having experience with previous disappointed Medicaid patients. The only recourse I was offered was to spend more on ordering a new pair of glasses.
Unfortunately, my experience was so frustrating that I would feel too uncomfortable to return as a repeat customer.
I've been coming to this location for several years and it only gets better. Fabiola - you are amazing. My kids love you, you always know how to treat them (even though 2/3 of them don't wear glasses) and most importantly help out when my daughter's glasses are broken/damaged. Thank you for finding a time to help me when my glasses are damaged. It's so nice to come into the store when you are working.
Dr Nesbit is the best as well. Quick exams for me since I am an adult and really fun, educational, and relaxed exam for my 10 year old.
These two are fantastic + the other employees who go above and beyond to make this office truly special.
Do yourself a favor and find another office for your vision needs. This office is ethnically challenged, I was convinced to purchase a year's supply of contacts as they offer swaps if prescriptions change and they are much cheaper if purchased a year at a time, this knowing I wear them very infrequently and would definitely be utilizing the swap program. After a few calls about fit after receiving the contacts I kept getting the "keep trying them your eyes just have to get used to them" bit. Fast forward 16 months when shockingly my prescription changed and was never really right which is why they didn't fit, I have 9 months of useless contacts that need prescription swapping, only now they only honor swaps within 12 months... however the manager has informed me if I am willing to purchase something, then she will bend the rules, because and I quote, "then money is changing hands"... definitely find another establishment.
Zero stars if there was an option. Even after stating several times I did not want monthly contacts I was still strong armed and forced into trying them because that was the only contacts they had available. Meanwhile Dr. Jeffrey Greenfield is extremely unprofessional and promotes violence within the workplace. When I returned two days after my contact lens fitting to have a replacement for daily contacts I asked him if I could have a copy of my contact lens prescriptions at which point he became irritated and told me no. I informed him that not providing me with my prescription violates the Federal Trade Commission law. After that he became extremely aggressive slamming his palms on the counter leaning over the counter pointing in my face and raising his voice yelling at me in front of three staff members and two sets of customers. Multiple times I asked him to disengage and take a moment to calm down so he could communicate with me with diplomacy. He then continued to become enraged yelling at me telling me not to tell him what to do and then asked"step outside". I was shocked that after he became so aggressive he further pushed the issue to try to engage me to fight him. I told him I would not tolerate a threat of violence from him. While I have tried to contact the corporate office, customer service is not available on the weekends . The interaction resulted in me calling the police on him to file a report against him. Do not shop at this location. He is not safe as a doctor and does not respect customers and tries to use verbal and physical aggressive behaviors to control situations.
Great location, Dr.Nesbitt is very professional and passionate in her work. The front desk lady was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Pretesting was a breeze as the tech was able to answer all of my questions. The glasses selection was great, the opticians were able to pick out a couple nice pairs that I got TWO! Definitely returning again
Dr. Danielle is excellent! Professional always and efficient. Also Irina helped me to order my eyeglasses and she is so professional & great to talk to. It is an honest and upfront center about pricing & everything. Highly recommend. And they take most insurance!
