America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I had an excellent experience at America's Best, and a big part of that was thanks to the manager Dominic! Dominic was professional, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. He took the time to answer all my questions, explained my options clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and valued as a customer. It's rare to see leadership that is so hands-on and genuinely cares about both customers and staff. I highly recommend this location (Wheaton) because of the outstanding management and customer service.

I've been going to the Wheaton store forever. The service there is great. I recently moved to Oswego and thought I would use their store. The Oswego store had the most lousy service I have ever received. Read my review that I wrote on the Oswego review board. I will drive the 45 minutes and go back to Wheaton for the best service I have ever received. This great service is not just from the doctor but also their support staff. I had purchased my glasses from Oswego and the glasses broke after 6 months. I went to Wheaton to have them fixed. The support staff could not find this order in the system but never gave up looking until they found my record. It should also be known that suppot staff worked as a great team to assist me with my broken glasses. In fact I'm a type 2 diabetic and the eye doctor discovered I had a stroke in my right eye ( serious problem if not treated.) American Best Wheaton would not prescribed glasses until I saw my Ophthalmologist. I indeed had a stroke in my right eye (I had no clue this happened). My Ophthalmologist was impressed that American Best Wheaton discovered the stroke. After my treatments, my Ophthalmologist gave me the okay to get my glasses.

I've been a few times now and they're awesome here! The reception staff is really nice, the eye testers are great and patient with eye exams, and the doctor is really thorough with making sure your lenses are the right ones. I had to come back after not super long because I work with fine details so my vision got worse, and they made sure my new lenses worked well and let me keep my old frames. 10/10!

I asked for my prescription to be handed to me after the exam. They failed to give it to me. I then called asking if they could email it to me. They got back to me saying I would have to come in stating they can't give the information over the phone or email. I said I understood and came in to pick it up. I picked it up and went to work. As I was trying to order new glasses I realized they didn't give me all the information I needed or asked for. I called again and explained all this to them explaining why I needed the information and verifying any information they needed. They still couldn't help me get the single PD number I needed. Worst experience. Never returning and would recommend the same. Beyond inconvenient.

America's best in wheaton is the worst! My husband's glasses were made incorrectly. They were a whole 1.0 off. He couldn't even use them. It has been a MONTH and he has still NOT received replacement glasses. America's Best would not even overnight the order. He is now waiting for eyeglasses that are very much needed.

Michelle was so patient, friendly and helpful! I've only ordered glasses from my eye doctor and decided to try AB. Ladies, they have petite size frames in a variety of colors and if you have a smaller face they fit great! Kaylyn and Dominic were great at pick up! Definitely recommend!

Went to get my glasses screw fixed, Dominic and other staff were super friendly and quick! Dominic also cleaned my glasses for free, this place is really good!

This is my favorite location I've been to other Americas Best and nothing has reached my expectations like this one. When I walked in was automatically greeted by a nice young lady named Erica very sweet and very helpful when making decisions on my frames. 10/10 would go again and even got my father to go too and he as well loved the environment.
