Dr Ekdawi is an excellent doctor and interacts well with her patients. My daughter has been going to her since she was 6 years old (she's now 15) for amblyopia and her vision is doing very well, as if she never had it. Thank you, Dr Ekdawi, for your invaluable treatment of my daughter's eyes!

Dr. Ekdawi is so sweet to my 3-year-old. She is patient and makes her exam comfortable and fun every time. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything to me.

I took my son to see Dr. Ekdawi when he was about 7months old. He had some pretty severe crossing happening and our pediatrician recommended we get it checked out. We were told his prescription was +5 in both eyes. We'd seen her three times. We were prescribed glasses that he NEVER willingly wore for about 6 months. Nothing was ever fully explained about his condition. I had to fight for every second I had with Dr. Ekdawi, literally asking questions as she rushed us out of the appointment. I was told originally that surgery would be inevitable, until our last appointment i was told surgery isn't and never was an option (gaslighting). I left every appointment frustrated and in tears. I finally got a second opinion. Turns out his vision is perfect, no amount of glasses wearing or patches would have ever helped. We had the surgery about a month after getting that second opinion and now his eyes are perfectly straight, we no longer have to force him to wear glasses that were the completely incorrect prescription, and he's so happy and so healthy post surgery. Id skip this doctor and Wheaton eye clinic all together. It's a cash cow, they do not care about you or your kids, they just want to bill you and your insurance and sell their glasses. This is just another reminder that we have to advocate and give a voice for those that don't have one.

Never ever on time. Don't have the decency to let patients know they are running two hours behind. This is the 3rd time this happened. It is rude and ignorant. No regard for the patients time. If the procedure didn't start here, never would have stayed.

Great experience. She patiently listened and diagnosed an issue perfectly. Kids love her.
