My Mother has been seeing Katrina at this place for quite a while. She has been very good and helpful to help my Mom deal with Macular Degeneration Until NOW. Here is the problem. Recommendations for equipment were taken to purchase products. Last one was $650. The plug to power the magnifying glass is so small.... and like all of our technology, delicate to plug in. So, someone who has low vision and can barely see much less see small detailed objects is suppose to be able to seamlessly get this small plug in facing the right direction. Well, of course that didn't happen. So the magnifier wasn't able to be powered up. Sent back to manufacturer for repair and they call (after two weeks). YOUR fault. Gonna take another $200 to fix. They suggested calling the institute for assistance. Institute is ignoring calls. Nothing. So not happy. My Mom is elderly on a fixed income that can barely see.
