I am so disappointed with this place. Received a bill from them for a service done two years ago, which I assumed was paid for. Their excuse was that they changed systems & they were just now getting around to going back over files to show outstanding bills. This is so unprofessional & lacking. I sincerely hope any people on a limited budget does not get dunned by this business. In two years, I received nothing from them. I was not sent to collections that would normally happen on a bill that old. My thoughts are that this was their mistake & they should have taken responsibility & consumed those bills. I hope other people review them as I have. I will never be going back there ever.

I would not normally leave a review of this magnitude. However the office staff is the worst I have ever experienced.They also misled me in how the routine appointment would be billed. 5 months after my first routine eye exam (the first with my medicare insurance) I received a confusing bill saying I owed them $45. After an investigation from my insurance company we find they billed both my vision(which would make the visit completely covered) and my medical for additional money. When I questioned the office they said I was rude and hung up on me. I had my husband(who had the same insurance but a different last name) call back 10 minutes later and was told he would absolutely incur no expense for the same routine visit I had just taken. We of course canceled his appointment and have filed a complaint. I suggest you find a different optometrist and save yourself the grieve!

I am editing my original review from 2020. I had an appt in 2023, at the new location. Can't say it was the same positive experience as the first time , but I was able to see the doctor and get renewed scripts, which is the goal. They are very affordable compared to other offices, and I will continue to go here. I made a same day appt to see Dr Austin for a yearly contact exam. The office staff was friendly and ready for me, very professional and answered all my questions. I was in and out within 35min, very very satisfied. They have competitively priced contacts too, I assume they'll be in w/in reasonable time. I look forward to recommending them to all my friends and family!

I have been going to that office since before Dr. Longenecker retired. I have always had a positive experience before today. When I made my appointment I scheduled it for 3:00pm and was told at the end of the conversation, see you at 3:00. I arrived at 2:55pm and was told since I was not 15 minutes early I would have to reschedule. My confirmation text when I made the appointment said 3:00 not 2:45. I was confused, they said I should have received a reminder text. It came the day before at 9:15 at night. I was asleep. I got up the next morning and went to work. I did not see it until they said I should have received it. If you expect me to be there 15 minutes before my appointment time to complete pre-testing then you need to tell me that my appointment is at 2:45 not 3:00. I would have rescheduled, but the office staff was very rude. I had them copy my records, which was an involved process to get them to do that, and I left. Unfortunately I have several family members who also use this office and now won't be back either. I feel sad that such policies have been put in place that are losing them patients. Anyone know a good place to get your eyes checked?

I had an excellent first-visit experience. Easy to set up an appointment. Personable, helpful, and prompt staff from arrival to departure. Dr. Heddle was experienced and courteous. I believe I will be returning for future appointments. Thank you all!

Had my routine exam about a month ago! Staff was super lovely and great at explaining insurance and billing to me when I had some questions. The doctor I saw was also super kind and wonderful. If you're looking for an optometrist this is a GREAT place to go!

Office staff is awful, completely unhelpful. Charges $20 to teach a teenager how to put in contacts. Mandatory. It's really gone downhill from when we first started using them. Try somewhere else.
