America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I leave lots of reviews. I usually highlight the good and then gently explain the bad if any, but I can't find anything positive about my experience with the employees and America's Best as a company. I feel there's a lot of misleading "deals" and it's like they punish those who have insurance. The designer frames are extremely overpriced. I actually heard employees yelling at each other in the back room having a heated discussion. Those things really poison the atmosphere. On top of that, an eye exam, running insurance, and ordering glasses took over 2 hours. This is my husband's day off and we were having date day so this took a huge chunk of our precious time together. We will be going back to Eyeglass World in Noblesville, probably for life lol as we now realize the grass isn't always greener switching companies in this day and age. I don't recommend.

I can not express how pleased I am with America's Best , from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with such kindness and Dusty really went above and beyond to help me with choosing the best glasses for me she also worked hard to get me the best deal for my purchase and it was amazing. Thank you so much for that Dusty . I will definitely be referring my friends and family to get their glasses from here . Thank you America's Best.

My glasses frame arm broke from my seatbelt retracting as soon as I got to work driving an hour away. Day before Thanksgiving. So I drove home a mess. Friday drive to work again and then I went straight to the office there in Kokomo and Rhonda took the best care of me. She replaced my glasses with same exact frames she had on display she popped my lenses into the pait she had and I was on my way in less than half an hour. No one's ever given me that kind of customer service that way that quick and that courteous.she is one of a kind. We need more Rhondas in the customer care world. Top tier customer service

The staff was great with the exception of the front desk person I believe her name is Madison. She had a bit of an attitude and an air of hostility towards us for some reason. Not sure if I would go back because of her.

Nothing about my visit went smoothly. From the moment I arrived, none of the technology worked the way it should have, and instead of taking responsibility, the tech kept blaming it on me being "the first appointment of the day." Honestly, not a single employee I interacted with seemed to fully know how to do their job. The technician clearly wasn't trained properly -- they didn't know how to operate the eye exam equipment and ended up doing five separate pressure (puffs of air) tests on my eyes while fumbling to take pictures of my eyes instead. It was uncomfortable and frustrating. No one told me when I booked my appointment that I'd be seeing a teledoc instead of an in-person doctor. That's absolutely something a patient should be informed of and have the choice to opt out of. Then, when it came time for the virtual visit, the camera didn't work -- so even that part of the exam was delayed and disorganized. While waiting for the virtual doctor to join, the two employees in the room started having a full conversation about which doctors they liked and didn't like working with. It was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable to listen to as a patient sitting there. To make matters worse, they couldn't find any record of my Eye Club purchase from last year. When I mentioned the "America's Best Eye Club," the employee looked completely confused and didn't even know what it was at first. Thankfully they offered to comp the "eye exam". Overall, this was one of the worst and most unorganized medical experiences. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Dusty was the greatest. Had an excellent visit. Save the OWL though. Without the OWL mascot for the company we would have never had the privilege to experience how good shopping for eye care can be.

Very nice people, worked very professionally and made the whole experience feel easy. I definitely recommend Dusty, Stephanie, and Sara they all work so amazingly. Thank y'all for the experience!

Dusty the lady who helped me choose my glasses was absolutely amazing. She was funny, and gave excellent feedback and customer service. Don't let her go!!!
