Dr. Scott Unger and Dr. Jennifer Unger are the best Optometrists I've ever had the pleasure of seeing for my very complicated eye care. They are extremely knowledgeable and are on top of new treatments and care. I've referred people to Midwest Eyecare many times. Their staff are kind, compassionate, and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is just as phenomenal as the doctors.

I have been a patient of Dr Scott Unger for 8+ years. Him and his staff do an excellent job of taking care of my eye needs. Whenever I upgrade my eyewear the staff on that side help me in finding the perfect pair of glasses I love. Whenever I come in between glasses, they cheerfully tighten and make adjustments to my frames. Highly recommend Midwest Eye Consultants!

I've been coming here for about 5 years, both me and my life. Never really had any issues until September of 2025 when I came in for an ulcer and saw the male provider who bullied me the entire appointment and made me feel terrible. I talked with the manager and she apologized. I ended up going back to the female I used go see and had no issues. I've been in here like 6 times since September because of issues I was having. This time I told them I didn't wanna do that blowing stuff because I've literally done it every single time. She told me I had no choice. I'm like oook and I started to say I didn't understand why it needed to be done, AGAIN, but she cut me off and threatened to get her manager. Um what? Because I'm literally making a statement that I don't understand?? Usually you explain to someone who doesn't understand, right? Not threaten them. She said the way you're talking to me isn't nice. Excuse me.. WHAT?!?! I looked at her sooooo confused and just said ok. Because I was literally speechless. She finishes up there then brings me to the room, doesn't even walk in or finish what she's supposed to so and just slams the door. Two seconds later the Dr comes in and say "since you wouldn't let her finish.. we need to finish before we can start" and I freaking lost it because again, WHAT?! I never said she couldn't finish. I never gave a single inkling that she couldn't finish. SHE CHOSE NOT TO FINISH. I'm so tired of HealthCare because it's never the Healthcare workers issue.. they always make it the patient's problem and then we look stupid or rude and I'm just so tired of it. So if you ever have any questions about anything.. don't ask them here!!! They'll think you're rude and refuse to serve you!

I loved Dr Grant. She was very thorough, explained all my options, and advised me on the future of having cataract surgery. Miss Gina did a great job figuring out the best way to use my vision benefit and order a second pair.

Dr Holman is outstanding, going the extra mile to answer any questions I have and helping me navigate LASIK surgery. As one who has needed glasses or contacts most of my life, I highly recommend her and Midwest for eye care needs.

I've been coming here for over 4 years and have been seeing Dr. Hulman. She is great and the staff and experience is always great. Everyone is friendly and super helpful in navigating insurance and all the things in the eye world.

I bring my 92 year old mother here for her eye care needs. All of the staff are SO friendly and helpful. They are so patient with her and treat her with signs and respect. She will continue here as long as she is able to get out to them.
