Great office! We are always greeted by front staff upon arrival. Tanya is the best . She is very organized and always personable! Dr Prather is well versed and knowledgeable in his field..always has a smile on his face and willing to answer all our questions without hesitation. My spouse and I would recommend this office in a heartbeat. Thank you to Dr Prather and his entire staff for such great eye care provided for us!

Dr. Prather and his team are professional and amiable. I travel 1,300 miles twice per year for my eye checkups. Dr Prather teaches me about my vision and eye condition each time I visit. Thank you so very much!

So happy to have found Dr. Prather! He was very professional, yet personable. He took so much time explaining my eye exam. He answered all my questions, I never felt rushed. His office staff was very friendly, esp Michelle. She did my initial exam and set up my referring appointments. Great experience!!

Dr. Prather was great! He took his time and I felt that he really listened to us. The office staff is the real reason for the lower stars. I will start this by saying we have been going to this office for 3 years. We have never had an order that was correct or on time and 3 of my 5 member family wear glasses. They ordered a different color and were clearly annoyed that we didn't take them anyway. They completely forgot to order my replacement lens and I "should've called them earlier". On our latest visit, our appointment was at 9. We arrived at 8:50. By 9:20, we had not been taken back. There were zero other patients in or around the waiting area when arrived or in the time we had been waiting. One patient had left prior to 9. When I asked at 9:20 about my 9am appointment, they seemed confused as to why I was asking. I get appointments running behind, but you can at least be apologetic or offer to check. Saying that it is "only been 20 minutes" is not helpful. I guarantee that if I was running 20 minutes late, she would consider it the end of the world and I would be turned away. The worst by far is the tech who works with contacts. She could not have been more annoyed that she needed to watch someone put contacts in. Snapping at a 12 year old who is trying to put contacts in for the first time is not helpful either. Not allowing his mother to be in the fitting is unacceptable. Strange how when I did force my way into the room, he was able to put them in after two additional attempts. Adjusting to a calming presence may increase the success rate of first time contact wearers. We are currently looking for a new provider.

Dr Prather is personable and professional, putting me at ease during exams. He's thorough and offers options for care. His staff is great and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hopper and Dr. Prather for years. They are kind, compassionate, helpful, and my son and I both have had great experiences here. They helped me through an emergency retinal tear getting me seen and to the specialist and have been helping me navigate rhe changes of my eyesight as I get older.
