Dr. Joseph Moriarity

Woke up in the middle of night and when I tried to open my eyes my right eye was extremely painful , watering ,burning,too painful to try to keep open, and super blurry. It was very painful closed as well just not as bad. I tried everything and nothing helped. Went to ER. They did 5 eye wash/rinses, numbed it, red dye, then finally said oh I think something just came out you should fine now. Before I even left the numbing stuff started wearing off and I told them it was still wrong. Got home and it was getting extreme again. I called here and they squeezed me in right be for they closed, they figured right out, and fixed me right up. I would of ended up right back at ER and suffering all weekend if they would not have done that for me! I can't even imagine going through that pain any longer then I did. Turns out while I was sleeping my eye dried out and when I tried to open my eye lids were sticking and pulled on my eye causing a tear across my eye. They put a contact in that eye I wore over the weekend and some eye drops I put in that eye like 4x a day. When back Monday for the contact to be removed. Used the drops for 2 more days and back to normal!! They know what they are doing! Highly recomend

I recently had two eye surgeries and the staff and Dr. Moriarty were awesome! They answered all my questions and did a very good job making sure everything went well.

Only have to go once a year but Dr. Joe is great at making you feel like you just spoke with him last week. Speaks in terms you can understand

This office appears to be a very organized and efficiently staffed. Dr. Moriarity was great with explanation of tests and results.

Everyone here at the Richmond eye center was friendly and helpful. That was my first time getting my eyes examined there, Dr. Joseph was amazing, caring doctor who answered my questions that I had. Overall everyone that was there was so kind and outstanding.

Excellent! Not only is he efficient and friendly but the staff they hire are top quality too. Double-plus good :-)

It is a pleasure to visit the Richmond Eye Center (and I really don't like having my eyes dilated and examined). So, maybe not actually a pleasure, but compared to other places it almost is. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and they make the process as easy as possible. Dr. Joe is outstanding. Very thorough and answers all my questions. I highly recommend it.
